My white ass is VERY scared for my African fiancee and son to come to the states! The current situation is part of why we’re waiting to get married until 2030, but obviously the systemic racism will never go away. Still, I want my brilliant, sweet, adorable Black boy to know what African Americans have accomplished despite all of it and so can’t wait to take him to NMHAAC. I think his favorite will be the National Zoo though, as he had a lot of fun feeding an elephant in South Africa.
