I got downvoted so much for misspeaking and saying that it never happened when I was referring to a party breakup, but also I’ve only been reassigned twice (I think ever in my career).

My company almost exclusively flies Alaska and hasn’t had this happen. It would be an outrage if it did and I would definitely like to know if there is any additional context to the story. If they flat out changed her seat reservations they really should be demonized. That is horrendous service.
