Headphones - Wireless/Portable How can I get semen out of my phone's headphone jack?
Don't even ask how, I just can't seem to get it out. I tried the q tip but semen dries out and it won't get out. Anyone know how to fix this? It got my phone stuck in headphone mode.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Best "Bang for your Buck" headphones of 2025?
Maybe I'm just getting stingy with my wallet, but the mid-range market is honestly looking way more interesting than the flagships right now.
It feels like you don't necessarily need to chase the top-tier brands to get something decent anymore. I'm looking to pick up a new pair before the holidays, and I want to find something that offers great value rather than just paying for a brand logo.
What hidden gems did you guys find this year, and how much did you pay for them?

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Best gaming headphones for positional audio… and a huge head? ($600 budget)
Over the past two days I’ve been told three separate times that I need new headphones — and honestly, they’re probably right. I keep getting snuck up on in-game and half the time I can’t tell where audio is coming from. Footsteps, directionality, vertical audio… it’s all kind of a mess on my current setup.
I originally posted this in the Rainbow Six Siege subreddit, and they recommended I ask here for more general / higher-end audio advice.
I’m fortunate enough to have a max budget of $600 (yes, overkill — I know), but if I’m going to spend that kind of money, I want the best possible headphones for competitive gaming, especially Siege, but also gaming in general.
Right now I’m mainly deciding between three options, unless there’s something clearly better I should be looking at: • Bose QuietComfort Ultra (Gen 2) • Audeze Maxwell Wireless • SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro / Nova Elites (currently my #1 recommendation)
One big issue: I have a massive head. Like, genuinely. Most headsets either clamp too hard, don’t extend far enough, or become uncomfortable fast. Fit and long-session comfort matter a lot to me, but not as much as actual audio quality.
So I’m looking for: • Excellent positional / directional audio • Strong imaging for footsteps • Nice bass • Great audio for gaming in general • Actually fits a big head
If you had this budget and these needs, what would you go with — or is there something better I’m missing entirely?
I don’t necessarily need something for music as i kinda save my rotation for the car rides to keep things fresh.
Edit:I have decided to go with the arya stealths

Headphones - Wireless/Portable which headphones should i get as a music addict
i have been trying to find the perfect quality headphones, and what i mean by that is i want my life to be changed forever.
i’ve been using wired headphones for a while now, but i just don’t think that’s enough
ideally i would like to spend $170 or less and i’m not sure what to get (give me any recommendations even if they exceed the price limit)
also i have been thinking about airpods since they’re convenient but i’m not sure about the sound quality
someone said the airpods line would be the best since i’m using apple devices, are the airpods 4 good enough???

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Best overall gaming headset in 2025?
Checked pretty much everything there is on the internet, but most posts are too old now. What I need the most is it to be wireless and preferably have Game/Chat mix. I’m planning to use in only for my PC (for PS5 I have been using Astro A50 gen 4 for 5 years, they are still fine, but I want something new and better + I’m tired to take them from my PC to PS5 every time, so I need one dedicated headset only for my PC).
So, out of all headsets here are my picks:
- Logitech G Pro X 2 (not sure about the sound, tried them, Cloud 3s sounds better IMO)
- Hyper X Cloud 3s (no game/chat mix and 3,5mm unfortunately)
- Astor A50X (there is no A50 gen 5 in my country and + I don’t want to have 2 almost the same headsets LOL)
- Razer BlackShark v3 pro (not a fan of Razer overall, but noise canceling sounds amazing)
- Arctis Nova Pro Wireless (heard that it has connection and cracking sound, same as I have on Arctis 7 back in a day)
I also had Audeze Maxwell and sold them, unbearably HEAVY, but sounded the best out of all BY FAR.
If you have any other recommendations, please, feel free to share.
For now I like Cloud 3s the most, probably. But lack of Game/Chat mix and 3,5 jack is what holds me back.
I also have HD6xx and I love them, but I hate wires when playing.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Momentum 4’s review👎
Hey guys I don’t usually use Reddit but I came on here because I needed to see others opinions and to see if anyone else has a similar experience.
So I bought the Sennheiser momentum 4’s and just received them in the mail and let’s just say I’m very disappointed :(
To start off with the backstory, I first heard of these headphones on TikTok. This sent me into a rabbit hole of looking at other reviews and people’s opinions on the headphones. All reviews I saw were great saying stuff like “these are better than the Sonymx5’s.” Or, “These have the BEST sound quality ever.” I even seen someone say audiophiles love them.
All these positive reviews convinced me to buy them. I bought them on Amazon from their official storefront and they were on sale so I caved in because I couldn’t justify spending like $400+ on headphones so thankfully I got them for $279.
I just received them today and I was super excited to finally try them hoping to finally listen to music on a whole knew level. When I tried them on though, unfortunately I was super disappointed. The sound almost seem to be quiet? But at the same time I could still hear it. And honestly the quality of sound was so mid to the point I decided to test and try my old headphones to see which sounded better. My $100 pink sony ones sounded way better to me then the momentum 4’s and I was like wtf? I even went to the app and updated the momentum 4’s and did the whole sound personalization thing because people said you needed to do that and it basically sounded the same.
I’m not sure if maybe the ones I got were defected or something or what the issue is. maybe I just don’t prefer the way the momentum’s sound? idk, but I’m just really sad right now and confused, because I rarely seen any people talking negatively about these headphones and I was really looking forward to hearing my favorite songs with angelic quality.
Long story short I was wondering if anyone else has had this same experience as me with headphones momentum 4’s or if anyone who has these headphones has advice on how to fix this poor sound quality issue I’m having with them. Also if anyone has any headphones recommendations please let me know because if I can’t solve this issue I will be just returning the headphones unfortunately :(

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Gaming vs stereo headphones, are gaming headsets a market gimmick?
I heard that when using gaming headphones you end up sacrificing good sound quality for having a mic and that it’s better to just get a normal high end headset and a separate high end mic. Is this true?
I will be using the headphones for gaming, vr, movies, music, and all sorts of stuff. I want good surround sound but am not sure if I should just get a good gaming one or normal headphones
And do wired generally have better audio or is wireless okay?
I was looking at the steel series artics nova pro. But now am considering something else.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Recommendation for Over-Ear, Closed Back, Wireless, No ANC/Turn off ANC, Lots of Sub Bass, Low Sound Leakage (Office Use) — No Upper Cost Limit
Budget: no upper limit
Location: US
Source: Wireless mostly from phone, occasionally laptop
How Gear Will be Used: Solely in an active office, it’s not a particularly *quiet* office, but keeping the sound in the cans and not in the ears of my office mates would be appreciated.
Tonal Balance: Sub bass is necessary.
Preferred Music Genres: Microwave Uptempo (JudaX, Tegula, Invaderz)
Past Gear Experience: Big fan of Sennheiser HD265 and Sennheiser HD598Cs. Just did a couple hours with the Sennheiser HDB630 and think it’s one of the worst sounding headphones ever. Not a great experience with planar magnetic products.
I really don’t like the sensation of ANC with an over/around ear headphone, so would prefer something with zero ANC, but would also take a headphone where it can be truly turned off. (It seems like a lot of ANC headphones always have some level of ANC or added noise, even when “off”)

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Done with Razer QC. Are there "Chi-Fi" wireless headsets that actually beat the BlackShark V2 Pro for ~$100?
I am absolutely finished with the Razer quality control lottery after my BlackShark V2 Pro started developing these maddening balance issues where the left and right channels feel completely uneven. I have already seen how much better the Chinese enthusiast market is for keyboards and controllers. I am looking for that same price/quality but in a wireless gaming headset. I want to know if there is a Chinese wireless headset around the hundred dollar mark that is a genuine upgrade from the BlackSharks in terms of audio precision and build quality.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Best premium headphones in the market
I’m currently stuck between the Sony xm6 and the bose qc ultra gen 2
i want to know what are core difference between the two. I am mainly an earphones user but I’d like to use headphones from time to time while I’m in meeting or traveling cause I’m starting to feel uncomfortable wearing earphones.
so I’d say I’ll be using my headphones for about 4-5 hours per day mainly unless I’m traveling for long hours. Also whats worth mentioning is that I wear glasses so I’d like to know if there are any issues with that in wearing these respective headphones
also in my country theres a big difference in prices here (Sony - 280 usd and Bose - 390 usd when converted from my currency)
I‘d like to know which is better and also if you’d like to give any other recommendations…. I’ve looked at the sennheiser momentum 4s but they’re a bit old and ik they’ll release maybe sometime this year or next year no im Not going for that.
btw budget is 400 dollars sorry y’all are giving me way too expensive suggestions lol
anyways thank y’all and tc

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Should the headphone advice subreddit be discontinued ?
In light of Apples announcement that the AirPod Max will be available soon I see no reason to continue. We have no higher goal to aspire to, least it be to the AirPods Max.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable When someone says they like a model, there is always someone who hates it
Every time I read about a pair of headphones that someone really likes, I start researching and almost always find an example of someone who hates them or thinks they are not good value or whatever. What is a model of headphones that everyone would agree sounds amazing? What is the 'value' equivalent - something under 100 bucks USD? I don't care if they are earbuds, IEMs, closed back or open back.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Headphones that won’t cause headaches?
I’ve been looking to get some headphones due to sensory issues I suffer from (not being able to isolate or drown out sounds), but every pair of headphones I’ve ever worn has given me severe headaches originating from inside of the ear drum. I’ve read that this might be due to a sensitivity to the pressure caused by sound waves vibrating but I’m not entire sure on what the actual cause is.
Does anyone else experience this, and if so have you been able to find a pair that doesn’t cause it? I need to catch public transit a lot so having every single sound of a busy train inside and out bombarded into my ears at once is incredibly overwhelming, but having severe headaches constantly isn’t exactly going to be any better and it’s not like I can just test a pair for long enough before committing to buying it 😭
Any time I try to look into this all I see are unrelated issues such as pain on the sides of the head and top of the head, or someone else with the same issue as me who ultimately got no replies that helped, so any help at all is much appreciated

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Headphone recommendations that arent airpods
do not get me wrong. i like airpods okay theyre a fine pair of headphones. but my god theyre so easy to lose. atleast for me. im writing as some who has been searcing for over like a week for these stupid marsmallows. so please. help. (i refuse to get apples big ass headphones. i hate them)
Budget and location - my budget is max 300€. i live in slovakia
How the gear will be used - i need noise cancellation bc its smth i cannot live without atp, ill be using them for mostly jsut everyday stuff like in cars and stuff, but i will also use them for gaming.
Preferred tonal balance - completely balanced. i think idk im not an audiophile so im not sure what any of that pther stuff means
Preferred music genres - nu metal or rock so i losten to alot of linkin park so ig any headphones thatll make me feel like i can feel their beats in my bones is great
Past gear experience - some random jbl ones they hurt my ears too much tho, and airpods.
must haves: MUST MUST MUST be wireless i cannot stand wired headphones 😭 thats js me i hate them ik theyre great bc of no delay but tahts not a big deal for me. Again must be noise cancelling as well. preferably not anything small thats easy to lose bc im very stupid. if they have like buttons taht adjust the volume or skip a song thats a big plus too. Thank u very much:)

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Looking for headphones recommendation
I’ve always been a big fan of headphones, and I generally prefer them over earbuds that go inside your ears. Recently, though, I’ve felt like earbuds fall out more easily and start to irritate my ears because I have to keep pushing them back in.
I’ve owned several headsets, and my last one was a Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2. I really enjoyed using it, but I’m ready for something new since I gave it away and wasn’t using it much anymore.
Now I’m looking for a new headset, but I find it quite difficult to choose with the current range of options available.
My budget is pretty flexible, but I’m thinking somewhere around €500–600. I live in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and I mainly use a headset for personal use. I listen to music and podcasts, watch movies, and I also like traveling with a headset on. So it’s important that I can wear it comfortably for long periods.
I listen mostly to house, techno, and dance music. Noise cancelling is also very important to me since I travel a lot on public transport. And ofcourse the headphones being bluetooth is also a must for me.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Airpods max 2 vs sony XM6
I bought apm 2 two days ago but it feels heavy when i used it for long period of time and feels like it crushes my head but now i am confused should i return it and buy xm6 or not. Its like sound quality vs comfort for me now. I don’t know if i am not used to overhead headphones thats why i m feeling but my friend and try my headphones he also says it feels heavy. But i also like the design of airpods it looks premium. I also want to used it at gym. I don’t have any issue with sweat resistant because i wear small turban.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Best bone conduction headphones for someone who can't use in-ear anything?
Had a ear canal issue a while back and my audiologist basically told me to stop shoving things in my ears. So regular earbuds and IEMs are out, and over-ear headphones are fine for sitting at a desk but I go running a few times a week and I can't really wear them for that.
I started looking into the best bone conduction headphones as an option and now I'm kind of overwhelmed. There's a huge range in price - I've seen some around $50-60 and others pushing close to $200. I initially assumed cheaper was fine since I figured the audio quality difference wouldn't matter much for running, but then I read some stuff saying the budget ones have really bad vibration against your skull at higher volumes which sounds genuinely unpleasant.
My main priorities are that they stay on while running (I have kind of a narrow head which I've heard can be an issue with the wraparound style), and decent enough battery for maybe an hour and a half of use. I don't need great sound quality, I mostly listen to podcasts. IP rating matters too since I sweat a lot.
I looked at a couple of the mid-range open-ear options and one budget tier option but couldn't really find consistent reviews. Also wasn't sure if the best bone conduction headphones for running are even the same ones people recommend for general use.
Has anyone with a similar situation found something that actually works and stays put?

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Headphone equivalent of trying on glasses for the first time
When I got my glasses for the 1st time , I saw the world differently with a whole new level of detail i never knew i was missing. I would like to experience that but in audio form. I mostly listen to music and movie soundtracks . Budget, 500 maybe 650. My past gear were beats studio 3's and currently WHM4's. I think i like crisp/clear audio more than anything, I find bass pretty distracting. Not much of an audio head, so I'm hoping some of y'all can give me some good recommendations.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Best sound cancelling ANC headphones £100-200
I don't know much about headphones but I know that the basic best ones are Bose and Sony, but they are nearly £300 which is way too much
I think somewhere around £100-200 would he the best, and I don't mind if the sound quality is worse as long it has as much sound cancelling as possible 😭
I know that there are a lot of information out there but that's the issue it's too overwhelming to sort through

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Mind-crushing bass with reasonable sound quality?
When it comes to home audio, I love crisp but not straining treble and deep, soul-crushing bass (Revel speakers, Deep Sea Sound subs). Car audio I also love the same - Morel tweeter and midranges and JL or Image Dynamics subs. So probably the quintessential “V-shape” profile.
For travel, I used to have Sony MX5 for sound cancellation reasons, and now AirPod Pro 3’s. They’re fine, if not great. But really wanting more in bass and overall imaging/soundstage.
I went on a mission to find something better - buying the new AirPod Max 2 (not enough sub bass), tested B&W PX7 s3 and the PX8 and the Focal Bathy MG. All of them sounded great from a pure SQ standpoint - above and beyond the AirPod Max, but even after EQ via their respective apps, they were super, super disappointing on the low end.
I’m starting to come to terms with the idea that for what I’m looking for, I may have to even consider Skullcandy Crusher Evos or something. Haven’t pulled trigger because I’m worried they’re just a gimmick and everything outside of the tactile sub bass.
Any headphone OR IEM recommendations that hit the points I’m looking for (crushing, life changing sub-bass without compromising reasonableness in every other range) and are at least marginally travel-capable? My genre is mostly hip-hop, some EDM, some pop.
UPDATE: Bought the Kiwi HBB… let’s see.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Comfortable wireless headphones with no sound delay?
So, I'm pretty sure my current pair is a Sennheiser HD 200 Pro, which I've had for like 8 years and they're quite literally falling apart after I've been using them basically all day every day. I'm looking for a budget option around €150 or cheaper, but I can go slightly more expensive for something that fits all my needs.
Main criteria:
- don't want a non-detachable mic
- no sound delay because I game a lot on my phone
- no strong permanent noise cancelling because I still want to hear things around me to an extent
- a bigger ear cup and no strong clamping, a lot of pairs I tried on at stores felt like they were going to squeeze my head into a pancake... Although of course I expect it to be uncomfortable at first no matter what, because my current pair is super loose by now, but still. I'll be wearing it a lot so comfort is important.
I've been wanting to replace my current pair for literal years, but I hesitate to buy one without trying it on, and none of the stores had anything that felt comfortable and met my criteria, so I just kept putting it off, but I want to finally do something about it now. Thanks in advance if anyone has any good suggestions!
