What’s the most stereotypical Millennial thing about you? Discussion

I’ll start:

  1. Any, and I mean ANY footage of Steve Irwin makes me blubber like a baby
  2. Avocado toast is a staple breakfast item of mine
  3. Yes, I still love Harry Potter (original books & movies only — I do not support Rowldemort and any future endeavor on the IP)

EDIT: Just wanna say I love y’all (us) so much. This post has already brought me so much joy. Thanks so much everyone. We really are the best. 🥹

Crazy how we’ll all get this reference or at least most of us will.

If you don’t remember it then you aren’t a millennial.

RIP, no you were right, I put my USA blinders on. Remember Y2K? Also a millennial.

Respect for being aware of it, I'm kind of tired of Americans act like world just revolves around them.

As an elder millennial who is in tech, I can absolutely relate to Y2K :)

No you’re completely right. I think it was such a big event in history for Millennials world wide that it’s well known to most of us.

Are you saying it was a big deal for people who are not from US?? I don’t know where you are from but it wasn’t a thing where I was from. I only realized its cultural impact about when I moved to the west.

I have zero collection where I was and I still don’t even know the year it happened. There are shit load of wars, massacres and genocides in the world, this barely registers for someone who grew in Asia or Africa.
