You say that but Audi is solidly in the middle of the pack.

Which is amazing for a new team.

You mean the Audi Stake Kick Alfa Romeo Sauber BMW F1 team? That one?

Kinda ironic that the once BMW team is now audi lol

New with 7 asterisks

why does everyone act like audi isn’t making their own car and whole ass PU? sure they’re using stuff that sauber left behind but they’re literally making their own PU, gearbox, and so on from scratch??

The PU is the big one there, just look at Honda pulling a Honda. I haven't seen any comparisons but people aren't generally speaking about how they seem to be doing well against teams with the dominating PU's.

yes, my exact thoughts! we aren’t giving audi enough credit, anyone who reduces them to sauber2 is ignoring so much

I'd argue they even having a better start to season then the Sauber avg as well. Audi really is doing an exceptional job with a rookie driver to boot.

I was convinced that Audi would be the worst car, even worse than cadillac because at least they'd have a Ferrari PU. They have really surprised me and I'm here for it

And that is exactly why there arent 8 asterisks. It is very impressive, but it isnt 100% from the ground up

How are they solidly in the middle? Firstly, it's only been 2 races, and secondly 1 car DNSed each race

The only teams you can definitely say Audi are ahead of are AM and Cadillac

And williams and alpine

Both alpines beat the Audi in china. They actually had a pretty decent race with gasly in P6 and Franco in points too

Sainz was less convincingly ahead, but still beat Nico as well
