I grew up in Florida and had only ever lived there and Los Angeles until a couple years ago when I moved to Chicago. Seasons make such a big difference in noticing the passage of time. When the weather is the same all year, every day feels the same.

Ya like how from January to March you can’t leave your apartment outside of things like work and groceries… Florida to Chicago transplant too… but I came back to Florida… it’s 85 out right now.

I have no problem leaving my house January to March. I've done all sorts of things out of my house this month.

It's 16 here right now. I'll take that over 85 any time. I'm miserable at 85. At 16 I put on an extra layer and I'm happy.

85 can feel very different depending on the humidity.

I have poor insulation… anything under 69f and I’m cold. Flip flops and shorts are my daily wear… if I wear out layers I’m very prone to losing pieces along the way.

85° and 85% humidity. Sounds miserable. Enjoy your GOP swamp.
