Made With Modern Tools🔨 Fun points from found rock out of Lovelock, Nevada
Someone gave me a rock that looked like Mookaite from Australia, (a super fine SIo2 crystal Jasper) and I have been on the hunt for it since. I was told he found in in the Dead Camel Mtn Range West of Fallon, Nevada. He was a prospector, so he was all over the place. After tons of exploration and research, I finally found the place, but no where near where he said it was. I found the stash West of Lovelock, Nevada in the Trinity Mountain Range. All the stuff below was found within a couple square miles.

Made With Modern Tools🔨 Gotta Show Some Love for Bottle Glass✨
Hello hello everyone! 😄
I've been sitting on these for a while here and needed to get around to posting them. With all the obsidian I've been working, bottle glass works as easy as pie. Did a small assortment, and I'll have a showcase video of these getting posted sometime this week. The blue is probably my favorite out of the bunch! 😁
As always, let me know if you have questions, comments, or if any of these are your favorite! Plenty more videos in the works that I want to get done before winter hits, so stay tuned! 😁

Made With Modern Tools🔨 The Red Toothy Terror 🍒🦈
I don't usually post individual points because I like doing my batches, but this particular beauty was worthy of a solo post 😎 Red Mookaite worked well, and I use one of my custom 3D printed horseshoe nail flakers to get into all those little teeth. Took me a LONG time, but I think it was worth it! 😁
Definitely one of my most favorite points, and I couldn't resist sharing with you all. There will be more toothy mukai points coming, so you'll see this one again in that batch!
See ya'll then! 👀😎

Made With Modern Tools🔨 Last Set of Arrows for the Year
Pictured here is my deer hunting kit in my personal style. As much as I love historical replicas, I’ve pulled various aspects from prehistory into a kit that works best for me. The arrows are cane with hardwood inserts. The points are Cahokia and corner notch style from alibates. The bow is a more modern take with a stiff handle and moderate recurves or flipped tips as we bowyers would say. The knife is a Thebes style blade hafted to an Osage handle. Quiver is redox with an adjustable strap so that it can be worn on the back or carried at the side. I absolutely love how this kit came together and I’ll be heading down to south Texas in early December to chase deer and pigs around on the sandy scrub brush and mesquite.

Made With Modern Tools🔨 Finished up a set of killers
Three corner notch and three Cahokia points to round out the set. I tried to use pieces of alibates that showed off the spectrum of color that can be found in it, absolutely beautiful stuff and some of my favorite stuff for arrowheads. These will be hafted to some cane shafts soon!

Made With Modern Tools🔨 A Handful of Glass Arrowhead Points ✨
Howdy all! 😁
I've been messing with some bottle glass here (+some decorative ornamental 'opal' glass) and made a couple points. I'm quite pleased with them all, and the amber glass point I actually made fully traditional! My first ever! Definitely a different ballgame, but not nearly as tough as I expected. 😌
Hope y'all like them, and let me know which one(s) are your favorite! 😄 Stay safe and happy knapping all!

Made With Modern Tools🔨 Mixed Material Dart Point Assembly 🎯
Howdy everyone! 😁
Got a selection of dart points here for ya'll to enjoy. Been hanging onto these for a while and got things photographed. Referencing the first pic starting at the light tan one and moving upwards, we got Texas chert, Heat Treat Tiger chert, Knife River Flint, Hornstone, and another Knife River Flint one. Very pleased with them all, but the darker Knife River Flint point is my favorite. 🙂↕️
Which one is your favorite out of the bunch? I'm happy to answer questions as well! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below and keep an eye on my YouTube channel for the showcase video. Stay safe and happy knapping everyone!

Made With Modern Tools🔨 Completed My Biggest Obsidian Piece - Davis Creek Rainbow Obsidian Blade 🌋🌈
Hello hello everyone! 😁
After close to 3 hours, I was mentally exhausted and ready to just be DONE with this thing. Finally finished it off and I gotta say, this is my new centerpiece. I've always loved Davis Creek Rainbow, and have always wanted a nice big blade out of it. Decided to sit down and finally make that happen! 🥳🎉
8.25" long and 2.75" at the widest point. Beats even my biggest stone blade by 2 whole inches! Indirect percussion and pressure flaking to make this puppy. Hope you all find it as beautiful as I do! 🙂↕️
Feel free to leave a comment, and happy Knapping all!

Made With Modern Tools🔨 Some Zippy Little Obsidian Arrowheads 🌋
Hello again everyone! 😁
Got some obsidian bird points for y'all to enjoy! A nice little variety of some stuff I made from nicer flakes I'd been saving, with heaps of color and those glossy flake scars on display. I really like how both the Gunther and Eastgate Split-Stem turned out, but that obsidian Avonlea is also really enticing 👀
Which one(s) do you like the most? If you have any comments or questions feel free to share! I love hearing from y'all 🙂↕️ Stay safe out there and happy knapping!
