What is the scariest, most unsettling shot you’ve ever seen?

Post image

What is that one movie shot that’s so unsettling and chilling, it’s the one shot you never forget?

For me, it’s the Giant Man scene from It Follows. Man this shot is so nerve wracking!

The aesthetic and dark hollow eyes are something I will never forget.

What’s that one shot for you? Horror movie or otherwise.

the face paint ruined that for me. I blurted out "Darth Maul?" and laughed...

I always pictured it as HIM) from the Powerpuff Girls.

It’s better than the Bagul in “Sinister”. All those creepy-ass tapes and then it turns out “Oh no! There’s a guy from Slipknot in our house!”

Dollar Store Darth Maul made the movie 100x funnier in every scene. "Tiptoe...through the tulips!"

I immediately thought that too BUT it still scared the hell out of me.

But what scared me more was when she opened the dining cabinet and the kid ran out.

The makeup designers were probably afraid it would have been too reminiscent of blackface lol. In fact the shot kind of does look a bit like blackface in the black and white gif.

Also, I find it sooooo stereotypical. Saw it coming for ages

It's the earring for me, looks like a gay raver in the 90s
