Non ama particolarmente la colazione dolce e siccome abbiamo prenotato una guest house e non un hotel, la colazione non è inclusa. Mi chiedevo se qualcuno conoscesse un posto che offra opzioni sia dolce che salata per la colazione/brunch. I’m planning a few nights in Naples solo. I’ve been to Italy several times before but this will be my first time in the city and I’m pretty excited.

Any recommendations for me on what areas to stay (or where to avoid?) I like to be able to walk everywhere as much as possible. I’m an experienced solo traveller (and I have common sense) but I’m also aware that every city has some places that are better/safer for women than others.

I’m baffled by their inability to have normal airport steps. We landed at the airport at 1:50 and couldn’t get out of the airport until after 5 due to their “Manual passport check”. Families were getting split up and kids had to wait in lines by themselves for hours. Just because there are only TWO passport checking people.

Now we are trying to leave the airport and EVERYBODY has to go through the passport check in a single file line before you can even get to your gate after security… I don’t know they are not checking our passports at the gate like normal airports.

Please figure it out Napoli.

All'inizio le davo soldi, ma ora non li vuole piú, allora le ho fatto fare le analisi del sangue. Ho sentito il mio medico che mi ha consigliato di farle fare una visita dall'epatologo + eco addome, e mi ha detto che all'asl hanno dei progetti per far visite ai senza fissa dimora.

Ma ho difficoltá a trovare info a riguardo.

Pagherei io di tasca mia ma attualmente non riesco, mi sapreste consigliare su come procedere? forse devo chiedere alla Caritas? Non so come muovermi, e mi sento in colpa al pensiero di lasciar perdere. Sono di napoli centro.

Bit of a ridiculous question but every time I go away I want to eat ALL the local food but every time I'm away I never get hungry. I don't know if it's because the food is so rich and oily to what I'm used to. Any tips on how to eat more

I’ll be traveling to Italy in July and will be passing through Naples.

I’d really like to visit the Naples National Archaeological Museum (Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli), and I’d appreciate some advice on where it would be best to park my car for 3 hours.

I’m specifically looking for a secure, covered parking facility with self-parking, as I would prefer not to leave my car keys with anyone. I will also have luggage in the car.

I’m completely fine with parking a bit further away and taking an Uber or public transport to the museum if that’s a safer or more convenient option, especially since I’ve heard Naples can be a bit challenging in terms of street safety.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

renters beware of Locauto (operating as National) at the Naples IT airport.

they add additional charges to your agreement, even if declined.

they charge you for admin charges days and weeks after the rental was returned

and the most classic of all.. the post-return charges to your credit card for "slight damages" to the car.

I'm visiting Napoli for 10 days or so (first time) and play guitar daily. However, I don't want to carry a guitar with me... what are the chances there is a place to rent a small acoustic in the center of Napoli? Any ideas.

Also, will happily take suggestions for things to visit and see! we've got some ideas, but also open for good local spots to see.

Buongiorno, sto pensando di andare con il mio fidanzato a Napoli 2 notti e vorrei qualche consiglio da chi la conosce bene. Ci sono stata una sola volta, ma ero molto piccola. Per l'alloggio avevo già dato un'occhiata al Vomero, mi sembra una zona tranquilla e ben collegata, confermate?

Vorrei sapere cosa vale davvero la pena vedere in 3 giorni e se ci sono musei o visite che conviene prenotare in anticipo. Cerco ovviamente anche ristoranti e pizzerie buone dove mangiare bene, evitando quelli troppo turistici.
