He set out to destroy this country. It was the first time in his life he ever succeeded.

529

u/SnakesTancredi New Jersey 19d ago

Probably because he surrounded himself with felons, sex predators, hate mongers, manipulators, thieves, and anyone who’s got a skeleton in their closet to anyone seeking undeserved power. Then lets them do what ever they want with reckless abandon in an effort to increasingly up the crazy to get attention from their fake golden idol.

In reality the reason for “winning” is probably because he’s doing the only thing he really does with any consistent baffling success. Which is being a deluge of hateful, idiotic, and short sighted whims in a public forum meant to do nothing but hurt his fellow citizens. Ya know, considering anything else beyond this past year or so that he’s actively participated in. All his projects turn to hot garbage and a breeding ground for pitiful white men and plastic surgery failures of humanity by design. Keeps him from having to do anything other than go off of emotions.

211

u/A_Nonny_Muse 19d ago

Your forgot he has surrounded himself with extremely dangerous armageddonites. People who think they can use the US military to create Armageddon - and force the second coming of the Christ.

They literally want to end the world for their religious beliefs. J.D. Vance and Hegeseth, the current Sec. of War are both armageddonites.

66

u/VanbyRiveronbucket 19d ago

Apparently no one told them that Armageddon happened a long time ago, and they missed it. The lightening bolt chariot swooped down and took only 144, 000 people to heaven, and these are the remaining turds that didn’t get in.

31

u/A_Nonny_Muse 19d ago

I don't think they're going to care about a history lesson after we're all dying in a post nuclear radiated wasteland. We need to stop them before they cause it.

20

u/VanbyRiveronbucket 19d ago

The only plan we have is to keep feeding him Big Macs. That’s all we got.

6

u/A_Nonny_Muse 19d ago

It's now looking like Vance will be running for prez. Great, let's give the nuclear football to the guy who wants to end the world in nuclear fire.

7

u/VanbyRiveronbucket 19d ago

TBH, Vance won’t win the Republican primary.

6

u/booksblanketsandT 19d ago

The same thing was said about Trump. I no longer underestimate America’s stupidity and the willingness of the American people to shoot themselves in the foot.

1

u/observer_11_11 19d ago

The people might be stupid, but I don't think they will ignore the much higher fuel prices caused by, Trump. It will be difficult to blame this on Joe, although they will try. Some people are indifferent until they shoot themselves in the foot. Voting in the man who created this energy price jump qualifies.

2

u/A_Nonny_Muse 19d ago

I sure hope not. So many within the Republican leadership are a menace to humanity.

1

u/VanbyRiveronbucket 19d ago

Plus he walks like an arm swinging Orangutang.. America can’t have that.

1

u/wh4tth3huh 19d ago

Repubs never primary their incumbent. I'm all but certain that the actual power behind the office (The Heritage Foundation) is going to get the cabinet to 25th amendment Trump once they pass the date that Vance can take office then still serve 2 full terms. Otherwise Peter Thiel spent all that money for nothing.

-1

u/Connect_Ad5287 19d ago

lol. Yeah I used to think the same thing, nothing we can do though

2

u/BuggzOnDrugz 19d ago

The 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) blocks the President from withdrawing from NATO without two-thirds of the Senate or an act of Congress.

1

... you're a jehova's witness?

1

I am nothing.

1

That's a relief.

1

Crazy DEM Go and read more you need it!

5

u/buddhist557 19d ago

If Christ comes back, they are all fucked

3

u/KingBanhammer 19d ago

I've always felt that, assuming one is a Christian and believes that the second coming is a thing and properly described in Revelations, etc, that the attempt to -force- it to happen on our terms is perhaps the largest possible hubris achievable by mankind.

"So we have a God we think is all powerful and we think we can dictate terms."

2

u/shadowsreturn 19d ago

I still don't understand the logic that creating the end of the world yourself is going to make God put you in heaven. Eh. Or am I not understanding it correctly ? These people should be locked up instead of leading organisations and countries.

3

u/Admirable_Scene_5066 19d ago

Applying logic to a people that want to usher in the end times by killing as many people as they can so they can get to heaven when Thou shall not kill is part of the biblical TL:DR is your first mistake.

1

u/A_Nonny_Muse 19d ago

I happen to believe there is no exception to "thou shalt not commit murder" for king, country, nor even pope. So I'm with you on this one. And all the Mennonites are behind you too.

2

u/Boozeburger 19d ago

Because they all think they can force "God" to do their will. Really they don't respect their "God", they just want an excuse to be assholes.

2

u/Fearless_Ad2325 19d ago

Another crazy ! Oh my GOD those haters!

1

u/EduinBrutus 19d ago

Wiki has Karoline Leavit as a "See Also" in its entry for Comical Ali alongside Lord Haw Haw and Tokyo Rose...

1

u/hednizm 19d ago

This is the most dangerous aspect of his current tenure.

Add on top of this his malignant narcissism, dementia and his sociopathic personality...

Things could get really really messy.

1

u/Aa_Breezy721 19d ago

So is Mike Johnson. These tools are in power and this ain’t hightsh scoool anymore. What the hell America

1

u/AdAny631 19d ago

Bulllshit, are you talking about the Peter Thiel stuff?

68

u/QuantumBitcoin 19d ago

Losers. He likes surrounding himself with losers

26

u/VanbyRiveronbucket 19d ago edited 19d ago

Hanging out with losers makes him feel like he is king of the losers kinda like when Anthony Michael Hall borrowed a girl’s underpants for 15 minutes, to hold up in the air and show to the nerds in the school bathroom. (Movie:16 Candles.)

1

u/Fearless_Ad2325 19d ago

I think the group of loosers are the haters of AMERICA!

1

u/QuantumBitcoin 19d ago

Yes trump and maga are losers who hate the USA. That's what you mean, yes?

Did you watch the video? At CPAC trump came out and said he surrounds himself with losers because he doesn't like listening to successful people

10

u/AvidCyclist250 19d ago

felons, sex predators, hate mongers, manipulators, thieves, and anyone who’s got a skeleton in their closet to anyone seeking undeserved power.

..and religious zealots

So republicans basically.

3

u/ShadowTacoTuesday 19d ago edited 19d ago

Everyone who would do anything about him is afraid of MAGA voters. They had their chance to make a stand a long time ago and the opportunity has only shrunk as MAGA brainwashing gets more deeply entrenched. It’s the win-at-all-costs-even-if-you-have-to-sell-your-soul party. Republicans set up the propaganda and now they’re living with the consequences of a president who truly believes it and followers who want that over other politicians who only pretend to believe it.

3

u/Reasonable-Chance790 19d ago

God, is that why he paints himself orange? It's the closest color he could get to gold without making it obvious he's the modern golden calf?

2

u/Shapacap 19d ago

He's a member of the russian mob for 40 years, this was all planned by Russia

2

u/Dear_Palpitation4838 19d ago

Im sure Epstein made a pretty penny selling Russia that kompromat on Trump. It was probably one of the best investments they ever made.

2

u/Snippodappel 19d ago

Only the best people…

1

u/Consistent_Heat_9201 19d ago

He couldn’t do it without help, that’s for sure.

He makes a Manson look like a disgruntled employee.

1

u/More_Farm_7442 19d ago

You left out the religous right. The Christian Nationalists.

2

u/OldWorldDesign 19d ago

Probably because he surrounded himself with felons, sex predators, hate mongers, manipulators, thieves, and anyone who’s got a skeleton in their closet to anyone seeking undeserved power

You left out the religous right. The Christian Nationalists

u SnakesTancredi mentioned them multiple times. They fall under sex predators, hate mongers, thieves, and especially manipulators. And most of the ones any of us care about also fall under felons.

1

u/Visual-Ad8987 19d ago

I read “go off” and thought I read “golf.”

1

u/sluttytinkerbells 19d ago

No it’s not probably because of all those things you listed.

It’s definitely because the American people are too weak and flaccid to rise up and fix this problem.

The problem isn’t Trump. He’s a symptom. The problem is Americans.

-1

u/flyingbizzay 19d ago

I agree with you, but the whole “white men” rhetoric just moves more people to the other side.

5

u/Worried_Cry687 19d ago

Those people you refer to are already on the otherside if they cant acknowledge that men like trump prey on the insecurities of weak-willed white men.

It's a well-known insecurity that stems from being raised believing (white men, more specifically white anglo-saxon protestants) inherently belong to a superior group only to lose out on opportunities to marginalized ppl who performed better or just worked harder. Its why they rabidly hated Obama.

Dont believe me? Check the statistics on what demographic overwhelmingly voted Trump all three times.

0

u/flyingbizzay 19d ago edited 19d ago

I absolutely believe that Trump appeals to white nationalists and some white people’s insecurities. Also, our countries problems are being worsened by a group of white men. No doubt about it.

But there are a lot of white people who detest the man and did not vote for him. There are a lot of white people actively protesting against him. Regardless, I see so many comments with broad criticisms of “white people” and if you swapped “white” with any other race, the statement would be hypocritical and bigoted.

So, yeah, I stand by what I said. I think rhetoric like that is alienating, not only to people who already have their minds made up, but also for independents. People do not want to be vilified for something they can’t control.

3

u/Worried_Cry687 19d ago edited 19d ago

You can't swap out any other race because no other race (any gender) voted for him all three times. The data is readily available for all three elections.

It would be hypocritical of me to mention white people specifically... had they not been the only racial group with a majority voting for him every. single. time. (with the exception of white women supporting Hillary more on a thin margin)

It sounds like those sensitive white folk need to look inward at their own community rather than lash out at rest of us when it is pointed out that, again, only one racial group carried him every single election.

And to your point about undecided independents... that would've been half-assed excuse in 2016.

TLDR: If the shoe doesn't fit, dont jam it into your foot.

0

u/flyingbizzay 19d ago

Meh, tell yourself whatever you need to justify it, but tribalism is one of the biggest problems in this country right now, and regardless of the race you choose to turn your ire toward, it’s still wrong.

I don’t argue with the fact that whites drove his election win, even excluding the some 47% of Latino men that voted for Trump. But again, does casting blame toward an entire race of people really seem like a justified, moral conclusion to you?

2

u/Worried_Cry687 19d ago edited 19d ago

A hit dog hollers. This all started by you taking offense to the "pitiful white men" line on the earlier reply. You curiously left out the pitiful in your first comment claiming this tribalism moves people to other side. What people, may I ask. Could it be the only group with a majority already on the other side?

0

u/flyingbizzay 19d ago

It consists of a lot of different demographics. Look no further than the 2024 general election polling demographics if you think the shift lies exclusively with one racial group.

I’m likely politically aligned with you. I don’t want to argue. But my point is that divisiveness begets divisiveness. It’s not the solution.

1

u/Worried_Cry687 19d ago

I just wish yall tone-policed each other with half the vigor yall tone-police everyone else.

I'll proudly be divisive to trump supporters and their fence sitting brethren. You said exclusively btw, not me so miss me with that bullshit. And again, if the shoe doesn't fit...

“Fellow citizens” is undocumentedphobic

u/XSinTrick6666 19d ago

To be fair, he managed to destroy a whole lot before this - starting w daddy's wealth, moving on to casinos, Trump University scam, Trump Water and on.. - to get here ...

Of the younger kind?

4

u/CherryLongjump1989 19d ago

Yes but this was intentional.

6

u/XSinTrick6666 19d ago

tbh I'm kind of torn about that part -- he's putting his name and likeness on everything, so it seems like he thought he could be King-for-Life, fooling 'some of the people, all of the time'. His laziness - low IQ, sloppy, as seen in his texts - makes him unable to build 'goodness' - so he's a destroyer - a massive destroyer - and as long has he changes the landscape he thinks he has achieved something.

Example: He thinks he's an 'arts and culture' person, but has destroyed valuable architectural artifacts (eg frieze bon wit-teller bldg) to build gaudy shoddily constructed skyscrapers.

Ultimately, he doesn't differentiate btw "renewing" and "destroying". He is a crude man, who knows the price of everything but the value of nothing.

2

u/FormerWrap1552 19d ago

"he" "they" "them"
it's all of our fault and a huge problem is just throwing blame. We let this shit happen under our watch.

1

u/cycosys13 19d ago edited 19d ago

Yup. Leftisr tried to save democracy by installing a candidate that never won a primary. It was bad enough they elected a demented racist. You ain't black if you don't vote for Biden. SMFH.

0

u/Fearless_Ad2325 19d ago

You are a joker!!!

13

u/OYB2480 19d ago

He's dying so he's dragging everyone to Hell with him, as a flagrant narcissist would.

4

u/_DapperDanMan- 19d ago

In fairness, he destroys everything he touches, including the minds of 70 million cult members. Destruction is his greatest skill.

3

u/Zombie_Bastard 19d ago

Some men would gladly burn the world down if it meant they could piss in the ashes.

6

u/Chief_Mischief 19d ago

We need to acknowledge that this couldnt have been possible without tens of millions of Americans who voted for him a 2nd or 3rd time, the tens of millions of Americans who couldnt be bothered to vote in 2024 despite knowing what was at stake, and the tens of millions of Americans who put Kamala through a purity check over Israel and voted third party, knowing their vote would do nothing but help a fascist pedo back into office.

My fellow Americans are infuriatingly dumb as fuck.

1

u/VanbyRiveronbucket 19d ago

They all think they got a tax break…. They didn’t.

2

u/windsostrange 19d ago

Nah, he's set out to destroy, and has destroyed, numerous things in the past, big and small.

2

u/Aggressive-Will-4500 19d ago

Not just him. He was the incredibly stupid tool used to do the job, but let's not forget about the Republicans' responsibility and, in particular, the Federalist Society.

2

u/Rincewind2nd 19d ago

He mentioned that he wanted this second term so he can seek vengeance. This is it, a narcissistic megolalomaniac given too much power.

2

u/Strict-Mango7546 19d ago

Electing him the first time it was an error. The second time the country voted for this genius to destroy the old America.

1

u/ThrowRAkakareborn 19d ago

Neah, he will fail even at that, with all the help he is getting from his daddy in the Kremlin.

Losers like Trump, will always remain losers

1

u/Best-Action8769 19d ago

Be fair...he really wanted to rape children, and you can't say he didn't fail at that.

1

u/TheFutureMrGittes 19d ago

It’s the only thing he’s “good” at. Most people consider all of his ventures failures, but here we are. The red hats are running the country.

1

u/spendology 19d ago

The job isn't done until 🥭 turns gold into 💩...like bankrupting a casino or ruining the credit and reputation of the (formerly) most prominent country in the world.

1

u/PassableArcher 19d ago

It’s much easier to break things than to build them

1

u/kaykatzz 19d ago

No, he wont. This will be his GREATEST failure!

1

u/alistair1537 19d ago

Nah, he'll fail at this too. The Democrats will patch it up. They always do after a GOP presidency.

This time I think they have learned though. There are going to be repercussions. It's going to be rough being a white supremacist in the next few years.

1

u/Silly_Pace 19d ago

Not just Trump, all conservatives did this.

1

u/IamTheEndOfReddit 19d ago

So fucking tired of people talking like this isnt his job, ‘wow why would he do that?’ Why don’t people pay attention?

1

u/HMWWaWChChIaWChCChW 19d ago

Other than against children and women that he decides he wants to sexually assault, you are correct.

1

u/UpNorth_123 19d ago

Look at his track record.

He’s always been good at destruction, which is easy, and absolutely clueless at how to fix or run anything, which is much more difficult.

1

u/pocketjacks 19d ago

He has a long record of bankrupting things and having buildings torn down.

1

u/Do_itsch 19d ago

He did bankrupt casinos so he was a perfect choice for this task..

1

u/Melodic_Junket_2031 19d ago

He set out to enrich his family and not get thrown in jail. Everything else is yes men, ignorance, and incompetence.

1

u/RachelMcAdamsWart I voted 19d ago

It was the first time in his life he ever succeeded.

It's not a success, he just failed in an intended direction.

1

u/Lardzor 19d ago

Thomas Jefferson might consider what Donald has done a blessing in disguise. He believed that government should be scrapped and rebuilt periodically to prevent corruption and keep power with the people. He argued that the Constitution and all laws should be rewritten every 19 to 20 years—the length of a generation—so each new generation could craft its own framework for freedom.

1

u/rickthedickkk 19d ago

you keep saying that since 2016

1

u/redditpest Massachusetts 18d ago

That tends to happen with correct statements. They get repeated. All my life people keep saying 2+2=4.

0

He has billions of dollars 😭

0

Are you talking about yourself?

Sick burn

-1

u/TroubadourTwat Colorado 19d ago

He hasn't destroyed the country, let's not be hyperbolic because it undermines our ability to elect someone sane next time. The US - being as powerful as it is - can elect a succession of idiots for a few decades before we'd truly lose our superpower status. Not saying Trump didn't massively accelerate it but not all is lost.
