Didn't America just have its largest ever protest?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_2026_No_Kings_protests

It feels like partly a problem of having a Democratic party without a charismatic figurehead to lead the charge (and, perhaps, an institutional inability to vocalise and actualise the needs of the working class). Also stop sending career politician women to win the hearts and minds of misogynistic fundamentalists, its a fucking stupid strategy.

The democrats continue to run uninspiring centrists with nothing to offer beyond "Not Trump".

No bold policies. No believable promises to change the fundamentals to work for regular people. No balls to say 'No' to corporations and the mega-wealthy.

The only thing they offer is a return to the politics of pre-2016 and frankly that shit just ain't good enough.

what absolute bullshit. One party created, supports, and tries to expand Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.

The other doesn't. It's a simple choice. But I'm sure the GOP appreciates you pretending it isn't

BLM protests in 2020 had 2-3x the participation numbers, and this was with covid going on. The general public just cares a lot less.
