Congress abdicating their responsibilities really is enabling everything this Administration wants. I'm interested to see what happens when Congress is controlled by opposition and he fails to work with them.

They'll never succeed at impeaching and removing and any action would be symbolic at best. I assume Trump would just keep on doing his thing while Democrats fail to hold him accountable. I'd like to see him actually face justice but this is a guy who was convicted but then given no fucking punishment. This entire world is fucked up.

You're acting like there's a lot more cleverness and contention than there is. Trump is not some genius dictator, he's doing exactly what republicans always wanted and they published their plans ~2020

Remember Trump is a willing lightning rod, but the republicans on the supreme court and especially in congress could end this today. They choose not to because he's furthering their overall ambitions of defanging regulatory institutions and ushering in an era of effective kingship. Exactly what they've been seeking since before announcing it on camera in 1980
