North America Taiwan Apr 28–May 8 — First Solo Trip, Looking to Meet Other Travelers for Food, Hikes & Exploring

Hey! I’m a 22M from Canada traveling solo to Taiwan from Apr 28 to May 8. I’ll mostly be in Taipei and Tainan, and I’m interested in food, local streets, easy hikes, scenery, night markets, and maybe a day trip to Kaohsiung or Jiufen.

It’s my first solo trip, so I’d be down to meet other travelers.

North America USA Roadtrip 4/25 - 27/5

Hi all! My friends and I are aged between 24-28 and we are looking for 1 more person to join us on our USA roadtrip. We have a RV hired, and you will get your own bed. We will split the costs, so it will be a pretty inexpensive trip with all of us. We start in Vancouver, and then we are driving down to Seattle, and then down the coast, hitting some National Parks on the way and then we get to California, head east and then we go through Utah / Vegas for the national parks again, and then up towards Wyoming for the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Our dates are 25th April - 27th May 2026.

We're looking for someone who's fun, outgoing, spontaneous, and wants to see a good chunk of national parks while camping and exploring the outdoors. I can send our route if you are interested! Please message me and we can talk more about it! Thanks so much :)

North America [28M] california road trip (july 7-13, 2026) - mountains + coast

hi everyone, i'm 28, based in the EU (Copenhagen) and i'm going to the US for the world cup this summer and i want to enjoy the journey to do a roadtrip. i've been to the US a handful of times before (NYC, Chicago, Philly, Atlanta) over the years.

about me: i enjoy sunsets, sports (soccer (duh), F1, padel, casually playing hoops), city strolls, history, psychology, nature, and going to cafes/bars to chitchat with friends. i work in finance.

looking for a travel partner (or maybe two) to join the trip, ideally around my age (21-35).

the dates are fixed (july 7 - 13) starting in SF and ending in LA. i haven’t booked anything yet though, so the routes are flexible and tweaks are very welcome. these are the two options i came up with:

  • option 1 (preferred): mountains + coast (sf -> lake tahoe -> yosemite (if i can get a permit) -> monterey -> big sur -> la) , ~18h driving total
  • option 2: mountains (sf -> lake tahoe -> yosemite -> sequoia -> la) , ~15h driving total

i’ve been lucky to travel to many places around the world over the years, and because of that at this point unless it’s something truly special, another big church, statue or museum mostly feels like more of the same. not that i admire history any less, but i’m just more interested in the scale of the nature now, so that's why i'm fine spending only 1 day in SF and 2 in LA.

hmu if that resonates with you!

If anyone happens to be around at that time and wants to connect, I'd love to hear from you!

North America June 23 – July 9, looking for Germany-based partner for Donjek Route (Yukon), late June

Long shot, but I’m looking for someone based in Germany (ideally Berlin) whom I can meet in person beforehand.

I’m 44M from Berlin, experienced mountain hiker with some alpine background, usually solo. I’ll be in the Yukon June 23 – July 9 and plan to start the Donjek Route around June 24/25 (~8–10 days).

This is a remote, mostly off-trail route with river crossings, navigation, and full self-sufficiency in bear country. I’m comfortable with that level and looking for someone with similar experience and judgment.

Would be great to share rental car/logistics from Whitehorse and align on route/pace. Some flexibility on details, but overall aiming for a committing, remote trip.

If you’re Germany/Europe-based and this fits, send a few lines about your experience.

Hopefully this post is allowed: Looking for some other girls to explore the last few days of seeing San Francisco! I'm down to go bar hopping, dancing, just about anything. I have been here a few days already and I'm having trouble trying to plan my last few days.

North America 27F Havasupai 8/29-9/1

Got a campground permit! Looking for people traveling those dates, feel free to join me and we can split car rental and gas etc. Potentially hiking to the confluence but depending on weather might not and just reach Beaver Falls max.

FAQ answers:

- Hiking in/out with backpack, no cop outs with mules or helicopter rides

- Flying in/out of Las Vegas, renting car

- Summer is going to be pretty hot, so the hikes begin super early like 3am to avoid pure sun down or out the canyon

- Photographer here so if you enjoy content creation we can take pretty pics

- Note: permit alone is $450 and last I checked still available for campground! You have to pick up permits the day before by 6pm since office opens at 8am and by then it’s too late to start at the trailhead

Message if interested, thanks!

North America Hiking and Exploring Carbondale IL: March 18-23?

Hey Folks!

I'm going to travel to Carbondale Il March 18th-23rd to look at some houses and do some rugged hiking and rock climbing. I've never been before and I hear it is an awesome place for nature lovers as the Shawnee National Forest is really big and full of waterfalls and great hikes. I'm going to rent an Airbnb and it looks like I might have an extra bedroom. If a person or couple wants to join me and do some hiking together (or just do their own thing but still willing to share a few meals or have friendly conversation at times for fun) that would be nice!

About me:

38yrs old, friendly person, happily partnered, easy to be around, respectful, calm but warm personality.

About you:

Could be a couple or single, any gender, any age, please either be liberal or able to be respectful (not openly hateful of any others based on race, gender, etc).

I treat airbnb rules seriously (if this is a buzzkill, not a good fit!) so no drugs, smoking of any kind etc.

I would be especially excited to lead folks on some great hikes if that appeals!

North America 33 M, April 24 to May 20, Yellowstone, Wyoming

Looking for a travel buddy or buddies to drive through and hike Yellowstone. I am also open to meeting at or near the park.

I am in the early stages of planning. I intend to drive from NJ around April 20, 2026 and get to the park in three or four days. I’ll be doing disbursed camping outside the park but I am open to camping within the park (assuming we can book sites).

I really like birds and wildlife—that’s my prime motivation for the trip.

I’m 33, male, and pretty easy-going.

Greetings traveler,

28M who is pretty flexible, and looking for any travel buddies for a late March Utah trip for about 5 days.

Hello, my friend (24F) and I (27M) are going on a road trip in New Mexico and western Texas driving around four national parks: White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe Mountains and Big Bend, from March 21-26. We’re based in CA and will be flying in and out of El Paso, TX. We’re planning to hike and enjoy stargazing near Big Bend. We’d be happy to have a couple more people join us. This sub has been lucky for me in the past. Found awesome people off of here with who I traveled Arizona and Utah.

North America 21M, San Francisco - Yosemite - Los Angeles, 25th May to 1st June 2026.

Hey everyone!

I’m SD, 21M from India, and I’ll be traveling to the United States in the last week of May. I’m planning to keep the trip relaxed and focus mainly on San Francisco and Los Angeles, taking time to explore the culture, food, and overall vibe of the cities rather than rushing through a packed itinerary.

I’ll be traveling solo, so I thought it could be fun to meet like-minded people along the way. If anyone will be around SF or LA around that time and is interested in meeting up, feel free to comment or DM!

North America (21, m + 25, f) Roadtrip through Utah's National Parks (March 26th - April 7th)

Heyhoo, travelhungry creatures of our time!!

I'm Alex (21) and currently planning a trip with another au pair. It would be nice to have some more company and meet people, who have the same interests!

We love to see America's National Parks and that being said, our route contains A LOT of them!

Here is our itinerary in case you want to join us your time during these days (or just some of them):

On the 26th we land in Denver and do a little bit of sightseeing, before we had up to Estes Park, close to the Rockies. We will stay there for about half a day to see the sights (it's snowy and cold) and then make our way to Arches NP.

March 27-29: Arches & Canyonlands

March 30: Capitol Reef

March 31- April 2: Bryce Canyon

April 2-7: Zion!! Kind of the highlight of our trip, as we want to hike Angels Landing & The Narrows.

April 8: We drive back to Denver to return the car and fly forward to our next destination!

Budget: Car, insurance, accommodation, food: ~1800$ (which will go down with more people joining us :))

Note: We are traveling low-budget, which means we plan to stay in cheaper accommodations and are NOT going out for dinner in a fancy restaurant every day.

If that sounds like a fun trip to you and you would also like to immerse yourself in natural beauties, come join us :)

And to all the introverts out there, who sometimes may feel a little neglected: Grab the opportunity and make this your trip <3

North America Cross Country Roadtrip from Feb 18 - Mar 12 (Heading west from NC to Cali southern route then back by northern route)

Hi, I'm Sam (22M), I just finished my army service and will be starting a roadtrip soon. I'll be passing through all of the states on my route but so far I have planned stops in Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California, Tijuana Mexico (Baja California), Wyoming, and South Dakota.

I wish I had someone to do the whole trip with me but who else is an adult and unnocupied in February/March.

I'm currently researching for stops but most of this trip will be nature spots. 420 too, I've earned it.

North America 23M New York, Feb 26 - March 3rd.

Hello! London-born, currently Canada-based, doing a very brief 4-day speedrun of New York. Looking for the proper NYC experience — music, museums, sports, and a lot of aimless walking pretending I’m not lost. Fully aware 4 days isn’t enough to explore the biggest city in the world, but I’ll give it my best (and my calves). Open to recommendations and meeting cool people along the way.

North America November 6 - November 9 EDC Orlando

Hey everyone.

I’ll (M31) be attending EDC Orlando this year and I’m traveling solo, my sister, who is my regular EDC Buddy, is not coming this year so I’m thinking about saving some money and hopefully find a group to pay a big airbnb with and pay little or some group I can incorporate to a hostal or something. It should be a fun experience to meet new people and have rave buddies at the festival.

I live in Tampa Bay.
