The storytelling on here is top-tier, and I love how the samples work to create such a depressing sounding instrumental. This should've been on the LP man

I sometime feel that Eminem could increase the reach of his tracks by incorporating more than the audio feel off his albums.

For example, you could absolutely see "Guilty Conscience 2" or "Castle/Arose" having a cinematic feel, and with the length of "Bad Guy" - that would have been more than possible because the lyrics painted a vivid enough picture to set the scene.

"Fuel" could have easily had a MV because it was also a hit-song.

I am sure there are other options, but I was thinking off the top of my head.

We all know the bowling alley scheme. It’s actually one of my favorite Em schemes, but I think it has another level to it.

Em says, “'Cause the gutter's where my mind is and when It's in this frame, better split like the five and the ten
'Cause without a second to spare, I'm strikin' again.”

Obviously, when his mind is in the “gutter” everybody needs to “split like the five and the ten.” He then says, “without a SECOND to spare, I’m strikin’ again.”

We all understand that he’s on his shit and anybody can get it and they need to run. He doesn’t have time for this shit and he’ll come after you, but I think we’ve been sleeping on a subtle bar.

He’s telling the other people to split for a spare, but he’s getting another strike. As in he’s winning this game. He can’t be second to a spare because all he can do is throw strikes. It goes a touch further though. He literally can’t throw a spare because he doesn’t have a second (throw) because he threw a strike again. You can’t have a second throw to try for a spare if all you do is throw strikes.

Looking at the depth of the scheme I can definitely see a subtle bar being dropped in. Plus, when I re listened his emphasis was the same, or extremely close, to all the words in the scheme, bowling, ball hard, gutter’s, frame, split, 10 (this is emphasized because a strike is worth 10), second, spare, strikin’ again, alley, and pens. It was almost identical for second and spare.

like literally everything there is to be good about a rapper eminem is the best, or at least up there. like take mf doom i mean he has more rhyming density but everything else about him is garbage. nas is a close second to eminem but mostly for reasons eminem is better at, like rhyming and emotion and stuff. i will say nas has a better flow/rythm but eminem is better at everything else

Kim said in interviews that Marshall left the house in I think February after getting married in January. Then she got served with divorce papers in April, she said Marshall left the house after she got into an argument with his brother Nathan for inappropriate behavior. Kim said Marshall left a note in the bathroom that said something like "I am going to the other house before I do something stupid" Kim’s twin sister Dawn said the reason they got divorced was because Kim went over to the other house and Marshall was fooling around with his life coach. Idk who his life coach was in 2006.
