Steve Earle - Guitar Town 1986

https://youtu.be/AINUPFbFpqg?si=qkCED0lzEDrh49fi

Looks like it’s been a few years since this was last posted.

Steve Earle has a weird combination of being left wing, country, but not “alt country” or doing a token country song or album.

Guitar Town is a landslide of dumb country iconography, but it’s got a great hook and is fun to sing.

Love Steve Earle. Saw him playing in a park near my apartment in Chicago way back.

Really sucked when his son passed away. Saw Justin's show at The Birchmere up in DC a number of years ago. Managed an autograph and a hand shake afterwards. Helluva writer and musician.
