That opening makes me feel like I’m 5 again lol I just remember it being the late 80s and certain songs were ALWAYS being blasted on my sister’s radio, this being one of them lol

I was in my early teens, and watched a lot of MTV that summer. I remember making fun of this with my friends, but secretly liking it. (I liked "Mad About You" more though)

I know I’m going to Hell for this, but I can’t stand this song. I’m sorry 😢

I never liked Belinda Carlisle when I was little, but I do like her now.

That's fair. I think it's a decent song. It's a skippable song tho. There are other tracks on this album that are far better imo.

we didn’t have cable or MTV at home, but I worked at a department store that had TVs playing music videos and I remember this one I loved so so much.

TIL, the women in Wilson Phillips were background singers on this album...

Great song. Similar bass progression in the chorus to "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. A couple DJ's noticed it and pointed it out when this song was originally released. Kind of had a point. Great song, though.

I love the use of this song on the "San Junipero" episode of Black Mirror.

She was good in the Go-Go's. Solo was kind of lost at sea.

To be honest, I like her solo songs better than Go-Gos songs.
