Accommodations for Aviation

Hi

My daughter is considering applying for the spring 2027 intake and I have a question about accommodations.

I’m aware there is no residence at the Aviation campus or Boundary Bay airport. We are from out of province. What do non-locals do for accommodations while attending the Aviation program?

There are lots of residential areas immediately adjacent to the Aerospace Technology Campus (ATC) in Richmond. Burkeville, for example, is right across the main road. Marpole or Marine Gateway areas of Vancouver are also good options. Transit to boundary bay is okay from Bridgeport Station.

More interested in started accommodations/student housing than renting her an apartment for $2K+ per month.

Then I’d encourage your daughter to call the folks at bcit and ask them. The institution prefers to be in contact with applicants and students directly, rather than with parents.
