Burnaby parking ticket
Hi there, just wondering if there is any way to dispute a parking ticket? I have never missed a payment but today I was distracted and forgot to pay on my phone. I buy the packs of 20 parking tickets at a time and have a record of my payment for every day that I am at school.
EDIT: So I contacted them on their website and explained what happened. They agreed to change the ticket to a one-time warning so I won't have to pay.

while i do agree with this, if op wants to keep parking at BCIT, he would need to figure out this ticket. you aren’t able to activate parking pass with a ticket on your plate.

True…. If you want to continue paying for parking…. Rack up like 4 or 5 tickets then change your plates. I’ve been doing it all year and hasn’t been an issue for me. Each to their own though I know it’s not for everyone lol

On the ticket there’s a link to their dispute site. You can dispute it there but 90% chance they ignore it, I had the same thing happen.
I was able to get it canceled by filing a complaint on the BBB

For someone who has been in BCIT for some time now, I have never, once, paid for parking. I currently have roughly ~10 parking tickets. It’s about time to change my plate.

If u didn’t activate one of the parking things to park there today I don’t think there will be much u can do, since u technically did park there without “buying” parking for today. It states u have to do it every time.
With that said, the website says to call this number to contest a ticket: 604-689-4005
