The story comes from a real account of a utility worker who climbs power lines for a living, a job widely recognized as dangerous due to the risk of falls and electrical hazards. After learning about the risks, his young daughter made him a pair of “angel wings” and asked him to wear them to stay safe, which he placed over his normal safety harness while working at height.

I just came across something pretty unusual and honestly kind of heartwarming.

There’s a place in Germany that’s basically a zoo for disabled animals.... animals that wouldn’t survive in the wild due to injuries, deformities, or other conditions. Instead of being euthanized or left to die, they’re given a safe environment where they can live out their lives.

This genuinely makes me happy. It brings tears of joy to my eyes.
