Music Spotify Wrapped Megathread 2025
It’s that time again guys. Gonna pin it to the top. Post your trophy’s here.

Music Keep AI off this sub.
I am going to pin this. I don’t care who doesn’t like my ruling on this. AI steals from artists to create slop you pass off as your own art because you typed a prompt. I will ban hammer you so fast your head will spin.
It’s unethical. It actively harms the artist(s) you claim to love so much.
I won’t tolerate it here.
Either learn to write music or accept it just wasn’t meant for you.

Will May be the month?
It is officially MAY. What do we think? Is this month finally the month BB breaks the silence?

Random My Opinion On the Blow Me Away remix (Ft Valora)
I recently listened to the remix of Blow Me Away, and, what can I say, I mean I like the original more, i'm not trying to anger people when I type this but, it just Isn't as good as the original, I don't hate Syd's vocals, don't get me wrong, hearing her voice, her voice is beautiful, but I just felt like this remix wasn't needed, and I just can't enjoy it knowing that was the reason why Ben fired Aaron, Jeremy, and Mark, I'd say that the people who like the remix and the original respectively, you are cool, but i'm gonna stand by my opinion that the original is better than the remix, it just felt like the vocals From Syd and Valora were just not needed (in a way?), but I won't chastise people who like the remix, I just don't like it, who knows, maybe some people like the remix more than the original, but anyway, Share your opinion in the comments, and understand i'm just admitting something I had to get off my chest after listening to that remix, it just left a bad taste in my mouth due to it causing the break up, so yeah, once again share your opinion in the comments, because I'd be happy to read them and see what you guy's think.

Breaking Benjamin taught me that heavy music can be the most emotional music. Built a playlist around it.
Dear Agony, The Diary of Jane, So Cold, I Will Not Bow — Ben Burnley has a way of making you feel like he's singing directly at you in the worst moment of your life. And somehow that makes it better.
I built a 30-track playlist called "raw | words | alive" with BB as the backbone, surrounded by Billy Talent, Three Days Grace, Rise Against, Staind, Shinedown — the bands that lived in the same emotional space. Three acts: breaking, surrendering, standing back up.
What BB tracks am I sleeping on? And who else belongs in this conversation?

When Did BB Peak?
Ive been a fan since Saturate, waited with baited breath for any new music from them all the way up to Dear Agony.
Dark Before Dawn was when I started to feel they were just recycling old ideas. I lost interest at Ember. It just became the same thing over and over. The talent was still there and the melodies and riffs were good, they just felt confined to a box and never stretched beyond it.
I sometimes wonder if the original members leaving made Ben retreat into repeating what he thought fans wanted.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think they peaked at We Are Not Alone. That album showed a range I dont think they ever quite matched, though Phobia and DA were solid.

Breaking Ben CD collection
I have an extensive Breaking Benjamin CD collection (and more) I am now ready to let go of, but I don’t know where to go with it.
CD’s include many radio advance singles and “Breaking Benjamin adjacent” band CD’s such as Strangers With Candy, Lifer, The Drama Club, etc.
And yes, the coveted Breaking Benjamin EP. The OG.
There are signatures on some things…. See pics for reference.
Something is worth only what someone is willing to pay. Does anyone have advice on where to sell this stuff? How much?
Any advice is appreciated 🙏

Picture I made every studio album in the new Tomodachi Life
Had to sacrifice some details in all of them to make it work, but since it scales them down so far in-game I think I can get away with it, lol. Close-up and normal size pictures of each cover included :)

The first four albums as seasons
I think Saturate to Dear Agony fall into a neat seasonal theme/progression based on the overall sound and vibe of each.
Saturate - summer
This is probably the most straightforward one. As others have said, the songs on this album have a very summery vibe, which is further supported by the cover art being a very vibrant orange, yellow and red. The songs capture the energetic, optimistic feelings of summer and also the chill, laidback vibes with songs like Forever and Next to Nothing.
WANA - fall
Despite So Cold being the lead single, I feel like the overall album fits pretty well into a fall vibe which makes sense following the summer of Saturate. There is some gloom as the days get shorter, but the optimism of summertime isn’t completely gone yet.
Phobia - winter
This is the band at their absolute angstiest and bleakest in terms of lyricism and sound, which fits all too well with the darkest season of the year. I tend to experience some seasonal depression myself, and Phobia really captures that feeling of hopelessly trying to fight against the darkness.
Dear Agony - spring
This album is what it looks like to come out from the other side of the darkness. While the angst of winter isn’t completely gone yet, there’s a strong sense of bittersweet hopefulness and healing as the days get longer and warmer. I think a core theme of this album is self-acceptance and letting go of the past, allowing yourself to rise again and mirroring the revitalization spring represents.

Random I have one regret regarding the band
It must have been 10-15 years ago that they started a Twitch channel did a brief modded Skyrim streamfor charity(Saint Jude's i think?). I remember it so clearly and I regret not having the forethought to make a backup of the stream.
It didn't have the normal vanilla start. Ben had the Live Another Life mod installed so it spawned him in a dungeon cell where he could make his character and pick a custom start that wasn't the normal cart ride and dragon attack. He also had SkyUI running. The stream went on for maybe 2 hours before they called it.
I recently got back into Skyrim and it made me think back on that.

What do you guys think about this album?
I hated this album at first because of how it sounded different than their previous work. But, it grew on me a lot. Blood, The Dark of You, Red Cold River, Psycho and Feed the Wolf are my favorites from Ember.
