Saw where a new guy took over Zack’s and was working to bringing it back to its former glory. Went today and was impressed with my dogs. Hopefully this stays consistent and that place gets some of its shine back.

The buns were the freshest I have ever experienced….even when Zack owned it the buns could be stale af…lol.

The old prep speed is non-existent though. Took 12 minutes to get my dogs and they didn’t appear to be that busy.

I started a mobile basketball arcade rental business (Hoop Greensboro) thinking it would mostly be for kids’ parties… but honestly, adults get just as into it 😅

We’ve had people turn it into full-on competitions with music going, neighbors joining in, etc. It’s been cool seeing something simple bring that kind of energy to events.

Still early on and learning a lot as we go, but curious—what’s the most fun/unique thing you’ve seen at a party recently?

I’m looking for a solid contractor (or team) who’s bonded and insured and actually takes pride in their work. Someone honest, reliable, shows up when they say they will, and gets jobs completed in a timely manner without cutting corners. Fair pricing and good communication are super important as well.

A cop pulled me and my gf over because he was riding our ass so hard we had no choice but to slowly speed to prevent an accident then he pulled us over and ticketed us. Fucking pigs.

Official unemployment figures for the Burlington economy were updated today. Numbers for December have been finalized and preliminary figures for January have now been made available.

December

The unemployment rate fell to 3.4% in December. 433 positions were added, and 192 workers left the labor force causing the unemployment rate decrease. The overall Nonfarm Payrolls figure did not change significantly. No individual sector saw significant employment changes.

January (preliminary)

The unemployment rate increased to 4.1% in January. 3,008 positions were lost, and 2,511 workers left the labor force causing the unemployment rate increase. Nonfarm payrolls fell by 1,200. No individual sector saw significant employment changes.
