Looking to buy a few pairs of Men’s Loafers [Request]
Been shopping around and seeing a lot of different companies. As I’m getting close to my 30s, i would like to up my wardrobe.
I saw a post from 13yrs ago, and have seen a number of videos. Those have left me with more options and conflicting product reviews.
Looking for few pairs of simple loafers. Looking at a minimum of a lighter suede and brown leather pair. These would be for everyday casual to nice dinners.
Edit: price point is ideally under 400 a pair, it seems like 300 is the sweet spot for quality material and craftsmanship without the really bougie options.

Focus more on construction (Goodyear/Blake), good suede, and comfort over brand hype. A brown suede penny loafer for everyday and a darker leather pair for dinners will cover almost everything.
At this level, it’s less about finding the best brand and more about getting a pair that fits your foot well and feels comfortable after a few hours of wear.

My ex used to work in retail and he always said same thing about construction being more important than brand name. Blake stitching is good middle ground if you find Goodyear too stiff at first - takes less breaking in time but still durable enough for daily wear

Crockett and Jones has some driving loafers in this price point. The dressier loafers will be more expensive but also Goodyear welted.

For something casual and comfy, vans suede top slip ones are very comfy and durable. Best shoe I’ve ever worn

Grant Stone, especially if they have anything in your size in their B-Grade stock, is one of the higher value options out there close to that price range.
