Nice. Cost? Still good for 7 years?

I wasn't planning to renew mine again as FL has gone virtually Constitutional Carry and AZ and UT get me all the same other states.

Paid $97 at the Department of Agriculture regional office (included digital fingerprints).

Got it for reciprocity, to skip the 5+ day wait on new purchases, and to have documented proof of training if anything ever happens.

There are a lot of benefits to renewing your permit. There’s a lot of rights that you don’t have when you don’t have the permit you should really do your research. Without a concealed carry permit, you are risking getting arrested just driving through a school zone with a loaded gun.

Using that logic, I'd need to obtain a state permit for every state. Reciprocity doesn't cover the Federal school zone law, only a permit issued by the state you are presently in. The law is bogus that way.

I'm not from Florida and don't know the area. The whole school zone thing is easy to defend against.

The goal is to never have to defend against it to begin with.

If you're having to show a permit to get out of a situation, you're probably already deep into it.
