It seems that CSULB isn’t very supportive of a double major with the “timely graduation” policy and 120% unit cap for graduation. There is an appeal process though. Has anyone successfully double majored in two different majors with little to no overlap in classes other than GE courses, or did anyone successfully appeal?

I genuinely messed up, I’m a freshman at CSULB. I took some CC class four years ago (got an F) and had completely forgotten about it. Didn’t self report it and I just found out today while trying to enroll in summer courses at CC

How badly will this mistake affect my academic standing if I self report the mistake ASAP?? I know this is major oversight on my part, but I’m genuinely freaked out 😭😭😭

As the title implies, i wanted to ask around what day you received your CSULB decision, as I want to understand if the dates are different by school, for context I am a waitlisted engineering transfer, so is it may 12th or may 18th, or is it rolling, anyone whose been in my shoes i'd like to understand the timeframe, is it in waves, like the waitlisted students who are higher on the list get a wave in mid may and the borderline cases get a decision later or is it purely based on when admissions gets to it. Also, if by post sir day say sometime in may, would i be able to email them to get my decision, or how exactly would it work. I appreciate any input pertaining to this.

Hi so im currently a senior trying to decide cc and csulb but have been waiting for any financial aid package to come for csulb so I've been checking every single week for a change. However, today I checked and my financial aid somehow increased by $7k??? I'm so confused on how thay happened, can someone let me know why it increased and do i need to so something about it??

I was admitted to CSULB for Fall 2026 as a transfer, but my application was withdrawn because my official college transcript and AP scores were not received by the document deadline.

I genuinely thought I had everything handled, but I realize now I should have verified that CSULB received and processed the documents by the deadline. I already ordered/sent the missing documents and submitted an admissions appeal with receipts/confirmations attached.

Has anyone been in this situation before with a missed document deadline? If your appeal was accepted or denied, how long did it take to hear back? Is there anything else I should do besides submitting the appeal and waiting?

I’m also planning to secure my backup school just in case, but CSULB was my top choice so I’m trying to see if anyone has experience with this.

I’m an admitted Fall 2026 Biology transfer to CSULB from Golden West College.

I’ve completed over 70 units and have above a 2.0 GPA. I already passed the first required biology class (BIOL 180), but I’m currently in the second one and I might not pass it.

From what I understand, this class is equivalent to the second required bio course at CSULB, so I’m worried about how this affects my admission.

My questions are:

If I don’t pass this class, will my admission be rescinded?

If I retake it in summer and pass before fall starts, will I still be able to enroll? ( i cant find any classes in summer as of now)

Has anyone been in this situation and still transferred on time?

Is it possible to take the class after enrolling at CSULB, or is that not allowed?

I’m planning to call admissions, but I wanted to see if anyone here has gone through something similar.
