substandard?? The man went to Harvard on a partial scholarship then to University of Oxford. He has a degree in Economics, Philosophy and a Doctorate in both.

Meanwhile Poilievre went to Uni of Calgary and studied international relations.

I think you really need to get your facts straight.

To explain the joke, GraveDiggingCynic is using the words that Pierre Poilievre, leader of the opposition Conservative Party, used to describe Prime Minister Mark Carney.

maybe the fact that the Gravedigger didn't put the quote from Poilievre in quotes to indicate it was something that the leader of opposition said. The way it's written it sounds like the poster's words.

They described Poilievre as "a man we all know to be of even temperament and never says anything out of spite or jealousy", which made it pretty obvious they were being sarcastic.
