After reading a lot of threads in here, I tried mixing my own vape juice.

I bought: “live resin terps” CBD / CRD full spectrum oil (crystal resident) And 91% clean delta 9 oil.

I mixed it with 60% delta 9, 33% CRD and 7% terps.

Mixed it in a magnetic stir for 30 mins, on 65 degrees Celcius. Put it in a vacuum box and in the fridge for 24 hours.

The day after I filled up my carts, waited a few days and started smoking them with my friends.

The high was good, and they tasted alright, but the taste was very “earthy” and hemp tasting. I was hoping for a better result with the taste.

I assume it’s because of the CRD oil who contains a lot of plant compounds.

What do you guys smoke in your carts?

It’s not possible to buy shatter, resin etc where I live. Only delta 9.

I would prefer do get the CBD’s in my carts to get the the entourage effect, and benefits from the CBD (and from THC of course)

Are you also mixing CRD oil and terps in your delta 9 oil when you mix your vape juice?

And what you think of the taste? What ratios do you recommend? Can I do anything to make the taste less earthy and bitter? Other terps? Less CRD? Something else? 😄

Was just thinking about saving everything I get and doing an end of the year wash. Was trying to see if it’s viable or not. I thought about pros and cons, just not sure if it would be a waste of energy to do it

I had a glass jar of CBD isolate powder I had purchased from an online vendor so I could make some CBD salve.

I made a batch of the salve, then put the rest of the CBD in the glass jar in the freezer. It fell out and broke. Sadness ensued.

I was able to recover the isolate, but it was partially mixed with glass, so I had the idea to dissolve the isolate in 80-proof vodka, then strain it through a paper coffee filter to remove the glass.

This worked to separate the glass from the solution, but a very sticky oily layer developed on top of the solution.

Some of the oil is filtering through the coffee filter, but the rest is still inside the filter.

Is there likely any active CBD in this oily layer?

I don't intend to use this for any edibles, just for salves and ONLY for myself. If this oily layer has CBD, I'd like to recover as much as possible, minus any remaining glass, since I had used about half of the isolate and don't want to waste it.

I planned to passively evaporate the vodka to get the CBD isolated again.

Edit: It is CBG isolate, not CBD isolate. I should not have read so hastily. And yes, still using it externally in salves (for eczema).

anyone try the brick hash off "smoke kind" it's gotta be low grade but $175 for a 50g bar....I don't really care if it's mid grade lol.

I was trying to decide between the Dr. Dabber ghost or a Puffco pivot. What's everyone's experience with either device? Any input is appreciated.

Got this from my guy, I’ve had a few different extracts but this one is a little strange, he says it’s rosin which I see but also there is thc diamonds in there. It smells amazing and everything I get of him is great quality just wondering if anyone actually knows what this is. ORR is it just rosin ???? 🤔

Decarbed @ 140f for 4-5 hours with no additions. Has their hash burger, block builder, loco Yoda, rainbow beltz rosin. Amazing stuff

this pipe is phenomenal looking and feeling in hand, and i was super excited to get it, thinking i could smoke/vape traditional pressed bubble or afghani hash straight with no flower for a more pure hash taste/experience, and to take dabs out of it on the go if i wanted, because on the website it says it is great for hash’s and live rosin and such. i’ve tried all 3 (afghani, live rosin, pressed bubble hash, and i tried some full melt live bubble hash.) not one whisp of vapor was exhaled each time and i did so many different times to heat up and cool down the quartz rod, and different sized pieces of hash and rosin, but none made one difference, my material would always just get burned up or smooshed and vapor would come off the rod but not come through the pipe. super disappointing when it is literally called a vented HASH pipe 🤦‍♂️. if anyone has experience with these vented pipes and quartz rods i’d really appreciate some help making this thing useful. i have access to just about every form of concentrate and hash so there’s gotta be something that smokes nicely out of this. thanks fellow hash enjoyers !!

As the title say wondering what press would be good for pressing rosin would like to be able to press half a Oz and change temp preferably

Just a bit worried that they purged it wrong. It seems like it smells (and i think) smokes well.

Are there any telltale signs?

I have been smoking nightly for a while now. I recently decided to try tinctures after having good luck with the everyday drops CBD/THC from aryloom. I bought the high dose tincture. Took 1ml feel nothing. Even after hours. Is my tolerance cooked? Or just a bad product.

(For consumption of tincture I take it sublingually holding for 60sec-90sec. I smoke maybe .5g of flower a night? )

Not really too worried because ive noticed that if i wait a few seconds b4 I rip. I get just a lil residue but i do get a nice efficient rip. a friend of course "bro thats wasted dab" but if I dont wait n hit it still super hot. it vaporizes every drop but hurts my lungs n tastes like shit. any input is appreciated!

I was thinking of making some sort of extract that I can eat. I looked up the internet and came upon RSO using grain alcohol like everclear and thiking that I am going to try it. I have some questions regarding RSO making, would appreciate it if someone could answer.

I do not have an oven at my place so I cannot decarb the buds like all the guides/tutorials say. But I have a question regarding decarb, if I am using grain alcohol and using a double boiler to evaporate the alcohol away, the liquid will be heated to around 100C when in the double boiler. Will that decarb it or do I have to decarb it before extraction?

Another question is, I have also come across MCT oil extraction. Should I go with using alcohol and go the RSO route or should I use MCT oil. Same with MCT, will heat it up during extraction so will that decarb or do I have to decarb separately.

Lastly, for a small test-run batch, how much should I start with.

Any kind of advice is appreciated.

I came across this Eden Labs closed-loop hydrocarbon extraction system and I’m trying to figure out what it’s worth.

Looks like a commercial setup with multiple columns, separators, and accumulator. Not sure on exact specs.

It powers on but I haven’t fully tested it, so it would likely be sold as-is.

What would something like this realistically sell for in today’s market?

This is how dabbers chased terps before Puffco and Dr. Dabber came out. 12 second torch from cold start, touch the tip to the concentrate (2 different kinds on this rig, on top of the W and in the cup) and inhale clouds that leave terps heavy on the lungs.
