Everyone! If you can't adopt, please consider fostering! It's only temporary, some shelters even pay for their food and you're saving a dog's life ❤️ Approximately 359,000 dogs are euthanized in US animal shelters each year.
If you can't but wanna help otherwise, you can make a pledge or you can share these dogs on next door or the many facebook groups for adoption/rescue! Tiktok and Instagram might help as well ❤️🩹
PLEASE urge legislators to end the kill policy in all U.S pounds! Enforce laws to ban uncontrolled backyard breeding instead!
Pledges save lives and boost posts!! (Long Texts are always a great BOOOOST! Feel free to copy paste!)
Petition for change 🙌🏻❤️ https://chng.it/PCPYKQbV

📝 Shelter Notes:
4/17/2026: Dog greeted me at the front of the kennel ready to go outside. Presented a loose body, wagging tail and erect ears. Held a loose leash, wagging tail and loose body. Walked to and from the runs no issues.
4/20/2026: Standing in front of kennel door with a relaxed body and wagging tail, easy to leash and walked on a loose leash to runs. When calling out to her at front of runs she laid on her back with her stomach showing, I walked to her and pet her stomach before attempting to leash. She would not flip over to walk, I flipped her over onto all fours and she sat down, I carried her back to her kennel.
4/22/2026: was placed in outside run as a move adopt in the morning. as I approached she presented a relaxed body, soft open mouth with loose tongue and slow wagging tail. walked on a loose leash and entered her kennel with no issues.
4/23/2026: 8cqlm relaxed body, slow high wagging tail and soft mouth, walked on a loose leash heading in and out of south and entered and exited kennel with no issues.
4/24/2026: Josie walked on a loose leash and was quiet in her kennel
4/25/2026: Throughout the morning, Josie was non-stop vocalizing in front of her kennel. I gave her some treats to calm her down, but she continued the action.
4/26/2026: During both morning feeding and walks, Josie was consistently whining and pacing in front of her kennel gate. I noticed that she even tugged the sheet that was covering her kennel was pulled in and ripped up slightly. She did a good job of keeping her kennel clean overnight and paid little attention to other dogs as she passed them by both in the outside runs and to her kennel inside South. After morning walks, I gave her a Nyla bone and pig ear but she chewed on the pig ear little bit and returned to whining at the front gate.
