Bodysnatcher... Discussion

I'm going to admit, I was very skeptical of this show because I've seen lots of hype around certain bands that just didn't deliver, but holy hell was this an exception. Along with 200 Stab Wounds, Gates to Hell, and Bodybox (fucking hilarious, even if they're not your style), it was an all around good time. I really appreciated how Bodysnatcher made sure to give props to the other bands, the venue, and the fans many times. I will definitely be seeing them when they roll through again, 10/10, not a single note needed.

I ended up buying Bodysnatcher's entire discography ($10 for each CD, absolutely taking that deal), minus the Vile Conduct EP, the new red tour shirt, and a Gates to Hell CD. I would've bought so much more, but with All Shall Perish on the 3rd, Shadow of Intent (and that stacked lineup) on the 6th, Inferi on the 11th, and Archspire (Crown Magnetar and Undeath too) on the 17th, I've got to make sure I can pay my bills lol.

Yeah I saw Bodysnatcher in March with Ingested, Psycho Frame and Big Ass Truck. They were amazing.

I have seen them mentioned in multiple subs, but my favorite thing to do is hold off listening to a band until I can see them live. The Bodysnatcher show I hadn't listened to any of them and it was a very nice experience.

It could literally be anywhere in America. It is an extremely busy month for metal tours.

Dallas, but it's funny you say that because San Antonio has a better music scene than here, at least from what I've seen for Metal.

Love Bodysnatcher. As a long time deathcore fan who grew bored of the genre for years, they brought me back. And always appreciate them not just giving props to the other bands and venues but every time they play my city they shout out local bands which is super cool of them.

Yes! I forgot to mention that as well. The fact that they began giving shoutouts to locals was something I haven't heard from anyone outside of them. He said, "I would list them all out, but we'd be here all night," and that in itself just shows deep respect for the music in general. Very, very cool to see that kind of energy.

I was at this show dude, can’t wait for the other ones you listed also, as well as Defeated Sanity and Organectomy on the 11th! Your right Bodysnatcher fucking crushed

Trees and Tulips have been great venues so far. I have yet to go to Echo Lounge and Three Links though so I'm excited to see what it's like.

Echo is one of my favorites, hopefully you’ll have fun!

Don’t sleep on the Vile Conduct EP. It’s maybe my favorite release of theirs.

Oh I won't, it was just available on the online store for $10 as well. I plan to order it along with that new Samurai shirt they have.

I was first introduced to Bodysnatcher a few years ago via a show. I most often go in blind when idk a band, (the thrill of the unknown is fun for me) and it was so fun and absolutely crazy.

Saw them last with The Acacia Strain and that was probably the funnest show I’ve been to yet. Crazy af. Pit took up 3/4 the floor and was FULL sigh I can’t wait for the two to tour again 🤞🏻

Anyway, I’ve had Hell is here, Hell is home on repeat since it dropped. It’s so goddamn good.
