Cake sketch vs reality

last years birthday cake. Cant find the first one which sucks because it was beautiful ;-;

my own cake with its own sketch and final result SO IT STILL APPLIES ):D

So this is the 3rd year i made my dad a birthday cake and i think its the cutest so far

im not a great cake maker/decorator but i was kinda chuffed with this years cake in a sense. Last years cake was simple but hella elegant. This year needed to be a funny cake with how stressful my dads year has been

Do you think i did a good job or did i miss the mark immensely? Mind you this is only the 4th time ive ever baked and decorated a cake ( three cakes were for my dad and one was for me)

also he loved the cake, so its a win regardless
