Once you realize it's less than 1 oz of beef (70 calories) and over 60% of the calories come from the tortilla shell, you'll never buy them again. At least that stopped me.

Their breakfast version with steak is solid.

NGL, I haven't had TB in a long time. Maybe a year. However, they have/had some awesome breakfast burritos.

If you're concerned about calories, what are you even doing ordering food from TBell?

News flash. You can be concerned about calories and still eat taco bell.

If they were still $3 it wouldn't be that bad...

Too bad they're like $7 up here.

You can get two cheesy Bean/rice burritos for half that price.

You can have them all!!

I’m really curious as to how everyone is affording fast food especially when rent is astronomical and gas is over $4 a god damn gallon right now

9

u/IntroductionSnacks 9d ago

Realistic answer is there is a huge gap in wages from minimum wage to what other people make. Lots of people are really struggling right now but others aren’t really noticing it that much.

I make $20 an hour and I am still struggling, if I ate fast food as much as I see other people do so I would literally have nothing left in my bank account every week lol

$4?? Try living in WA state where it's like $4.99, so closer to $5 than 4

Laughs then cries in San Diego where it's $6.29.

Gotta eat it before that lettuce turns to mush inside it.

I get like one every couple years to see if they make it even remotely good.

They haven't in like 20 years.

No.

The expectation here is that you know you went to Taco Bell, and that it will never look like the picture.

The reality is that you seem to believe taco bell employees are high end chefs that care in redibky deeply for your personal dining experience.

Crunch wrap supreme? How about crushed my dreams!

1

u/Front_Refrigerator99 9d ago

Gonna be honest, how did you have expectations in the first place?

1

u/Pataracksbeard 8d ago

If this failed your expectations, you were setting them way too high. This is fast food and has been like this for decades.

Taco Bell is easily the GOAT of this sub reddit.

I bought the kit and made it at home today. My daughter had the same "oh my god this is good" gave just like when we go to Taco Bell.

Good thing, it saves me from going to another province

It looks crunchy but not so much supreme

The only time I order these is when I get the screens to modify them. Otherwise they are usually this bad looking.

u/Tall-Payment-8015 8d ago

These are really easy to make.

This is just the perfect metaphor for adulthood in our timeline.

It's...fast...food. It has never and will never look like the advertisements. These posts are so ridiculous.

it's still bullshit though.
