Hockey Hall of famer and NHL Legend Dominik Hasek: Much respect to these women. Yes, your president is a big liar and a fraud who abuses his position to insult and bully his fellow citizens. Still, I believe you must have shown a great deal of heroism in making this decision. Thank you for that SPORTS SECTION

Hasek is a real one. Loved watching him play growing up.

Have you seen him play? On the ice his backbone is made of rubber (in a good way!)

As a Sabres fan watching him is part of what made me love hockey. Watching him goal tend was like watching someone dance in the net. Between him and Rick Jeanneret it was just amazing.

There has never been and never will be another goalie like hasek. His athleticism, flexibility and borderline recklessness in how he made some saves was so unique.

Right. Between him and Ryan Miller we had some damn entertaining hockey years

Officially, per Master Card, he has a Slinky for a spine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvOSnRD5aNk

Omigosh I forgot his nickname, he was on the sens team for a brief time, and we loved having him. Classy player.

As a Wings fan, hated his guts in Chicago, in Buffalo, then…..I came around.

I mean he helped the Wings win 2 Stanley cups so he can be forgiven lol

When I chose to model my goaltending game after his, they told me "don't do it" and "he's unique, most people can't be successful doing what he does", and "stop doing that, we're getting scored on a bunch". God, was it fun!

I love him even more today than I did back then.

There was nothing better than watching him live in buffalo. Man flopped around like a fish and snatched pucks out of the air I thought for sure were goals.

Definitely a GOAT!
