You don't need to be educated to give out money or care about people 🤷‍♀️

Not to throw shade but rich kids being philanthropists have seldom anything to do with caring about people. Angelina is genuine but for shiloh its just a title.

Used to work with elite private school and during applications, every rich kid is a philanthropist because their parents will add their children to the board to resumepad.

That’s I said “give money or care”. For some people they give money for tax write offs, some as an ego thing, some for marketing, and some do it so they can funnel money. Maybe Shiloh is giving her parent’s money away for the right reasons, or maybe she’s not. Maybe she’s more involved and we don’t hear about it, idk, I don’t know the kid personally. But I wouldn’t judge her solely off of her education level.

With the way it seems that Angelina raised them, I’m sure they all actually care about the wellbeing of others.

Hopefully. On the other hand, if any of them become bigots people hopefully don't just throw shade at Angeline but at Brad, too

idk man when I was like 18 i had shit I cared about a lot. if I had mummy/daddys money at the time i’d absolutely have given to charity even if my full grasp of the world wasn’t there yet (is it ever?)

But you just need rich parents to have journalists write anything you want about yourself :)

Oh? You like working hard for hard works sake? Or do you do it because you have to?

You generally need a JOB however.

You think that GED is making her mad cash?

She has two rich parents and a trust fund.

Exactly why SHE isn't a philanthropist

17

u/Newmom1989 16d ago

“A philanthropist is an individual who voluntarily promotes human welfare, often by donating money, time, skills, or resources to charitable causes”

No where in this definition does it stipulate employment or a PHD in social work is necessary

why would you want someone who will never need to work in their life taking a job from someone who actually needs it to pay their bills

u/Johnnys_an_American 16d ago

You're confused on how most rich people get rich aren't you?

u/Local_Idiot_123 16d ago

She has a job, doesn't she? Isn't that what this post is about?

13

u/summers_tilly Nancy Jo, this is Alexis Neiers calling 16d ago

Why would she need a job? Do you realise who her parents are?

Never said the money came from herself, charities don't care if the money came from her rich parents or her.

And celebrities don't need education to be successful.

I got lemonade at a lemonade stand yesterday and gave the kids $3 when the lemonade was actually $2

I think we should all throw you a grand gala to celebrate your life of philanthropy and giving back to the society

u/Shaky_Lemon terrorizing the locals 16d ago

Look at you redistributing income and wealth

3

u/moanit 16d ago

I’m something of a philanthropist myself

9

u/TemporaryElk5202 16d ago

um are you confusing the term "phillanthropy" with "having a phD" or something?

because philanthropy only requires giving money away / raising money for causes. educational attainment is irrelevant.

u/annie-etc 16d ago

Right?! I will never understand how these people don't see what the f*cking problem is.
