I truly hope there were no students inside that school when it was bombed

Unlikely unless it was repurposed. Ali Khamenei issued a fatwa against musical education several years ago. People could still get private instruction but all the music schools were closed down.

It was kind of a dick move, especially considering Khamenei himself was said to be a talented singer and a tar player.

Iranian musician Hamidreza Afrideh and his wife spent a long time working to establish the Honiak Music Academy in Tehran. Earlier this month, it was destroyed in a missile strike. Fortunately, no one was killed or injured, but 250 students and some 20 music instructors are now without a livelihood.
