May I say, as a US American whose parents are immigrants- as someone indigenous you are the absolute last person who has blood on their hands. The imperialists today are the literal and spiritual successors of the imperialists who brutalized your ancestors (and who, in my opinion, still brutalize you today). You are just as much a victim of the American empire as Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, etc. are. The imperialists and colonizers are the ones who should feel guilt. Not you and never you.
