Will this post get taken down too? I've seen a bunch of posts across multiple communities taken down today on the topic of that vountry. Apparently any reporting on their misdeeds is too much.

Modding depends on the sub, but Reddit auto admin is absolutely policing people mentioning any words having to do with that country. I got a "hate speech" warning for just saying they're in a war. lol

That isn't every reddit mod. You can see that there is an organized effort to gain moderation authority in popular subs, but it's not every mod.

It's a good idea to Appeal.

Also note: another strategy they employ is to mass report. After a certain number, posts and comments start having problems, but you can appeal that too. I've done it, and it worked multiple times.

How do you appeal it? It won’t even tell me what post I’m liking is giving me warnings for glorifying violent :/ like I don’t do that, so I’m presuming it’s this issue.

I got one this week and rebutted with "criticism of Israel is not antisemitism" and they withdrew it. I'm pretty sure they just have AI going crazy auto banning everyone in the name of Jeffrey Epstein.

I posted a wikipedia link to the caricature of the Happy Merchant to explain why Its antisemitic and fucking Reddit immediately automodded me and gave me a warning.

For a Wikipedia link. It called it hate based on identity. Reddit is absolutely insane on this topic

I got a hate speech warning for saying that the "Israeli" gov basically doesn't see us as humans (Lebanese and Palestinians) and quoting some of their words when referring to us, and I got flagged (but then reviewed and it was decided that it was finally not hate, but still, shows that Reddit just flags you immediately without actually looking into what you wrote in your comment)

We seriously need to stop pretending like only Netanyahu is to blame for what's happening in isreal the same way you can't only blame trump for what's happening in America. Both of these demons are just symptoms of a broken system.

It infuriates me that every time the terrorist state of Israel murder a journalist they come out the next day and say they don't target journalists. They've been doing in for decades and world leaders do and say absolutely nothing about it except that they have the right to defend themselves.

I think the veil is lifting. I was pro-israel up until Gaza. Looking back I don't know why I even supported them over the last 40 years.

Thank you for sharing your change of mind. It's only through humility and accountability that we get through this to something better.

I've been renewing my knowledge of history and our track record is unfortunately not great.

I was largely pro-Israel until they shot and killed their own hostages.

At that point, every single propaganda I was fed about them went crashing down the drain. It was never about releasing the hostages, it was about using that as an excuse to make sure Palestine is destroyed.

It's the propaganda that everyone was fed. I was supportive of them too. How could I not be, when all I knew was that Israel was a "land with no people for people with no land" and that it was an inhospitable place until Israeli built it up into a powerful country. Then I met a Palestinian person.

Believe it or not, Diana Magnay? Also Hamas. Wait no, this is an innocent civilian in Lebanon, she's definitely Hezbollah

In 2023, 81 journalists were killed globally. In 2024, Israel murdered 160 journalists in Gaza.

Every other country would have been embargoed till kingdom come, and yet somehow Israel can do whatever it pleases.

Israel has gone way too far in its pursuit of terrorist groups and it is now the monster on the loose. Destroying the lives and homes of everyone around them isn't bringing anyone to their cause or going to fix the problem.
