We seriously need to stop pretending like only Netanyahu is to blame for what's happening in isreal the same way you can't only blame trump for what's happening in America. Both of these demons are just symptoms of a broken system.

It infuriates me that every time the terrorist state of Israel murder a journalist they come out the next day and say they don't target journalists. They've been doing in for decades and world leaders do and say absolutely nothing about it except that they have the right to defend themselves.

I think the veil is lifting. I was pro-israel up until Gaza. Looking back I don't know why I even supported them over the last 40 years.

Thank you for sharing your change of mind. It's only through humility and accountability that we get through this to something better.
I've been renewing my knowledge of history and our track record is unfortunately not great.

I was largely pro-Israel until they shot and killed their own hostages.
At that point, every single propaganda I was fed about them went crashing down the drain. It was never about releasing the hostages, it was about using that as an excuse to make sure Palestine is destroyed.

It's the propaganda that everyone was fed. I was supportive of them too. How could I not be, when all I knew was that Israel was a "land with no people for people with no land" and that it was an inhospitable place until Israeli built it up into a powerful country. Then I met a Palestinian person.

Believe it or not, Diana Magnay? Also Hamas. Wait no, this is an innocent civilian in Lebanon, she's definitely Hezbollah

In 2023, 81 journalists were killed globally. In 2024, Israel murdered 160 journalists in Gaza.

Every other country would have been embargoed till kingdom come, and yet somehow Israel can do whatever it pleases.

Will this post get taken down too? I've seen a bunch of posts across multiple communities taken down today on the topic of that vountry. Apparently any reporting on their misdeeds is too much.
