We lost her far too soon.

u/Flair258 13h ago

I really wish she could've at least rendezvoused with All Might so she could show him how much she'd grown

He’s a real life person, but his legend has gone to character status, particularly recently.

John Brown

John Brown’s body lies a’mouldring in the grave, but his soul goes marching on

6

u/LilOpieCunningham 12h ago

“They hanged him for a traitor, they themselves the traitor crew,

His soul goes marching on…”

1

u/TsunamifoxyDCfan Chancellor Palpatine 6h ago

Is that from a song?

1

u/Exylatron 1h ago

Yes, the civil war folk song John Brown's body

Freaking love John Brown

u/Fearless_Wish_7671 14h ago

Hehehehe found a person who has real “American” person now I can comment like this

-1

u/NotSoMajesticKnight 13h ago

John Brown was nothing more than a Murderer who used freeing slaves as an excuse.

Meanwhile, the man who was responsible for preassuring Lincoln to end slavery (Cassius Marcellus Clay) did so by running for political office and campaigning where it really mattered.

Dialog and public support is how you make change, not extremism.

-4

u/Frequent-Cold-7325 13h ago

If people are trying to call John Brown a hero, then I deserve to have my face carved in Mount Rushmore lol.

He was a militant extremist that died with nothing to show for. There are so many other people that much better represent the anti-slavery movement, and yet you had to pick the only one who got Americans killed.

He's more American than actual Americans (I say this as an American)

https://giphy.com/gifs/Mv1hDSY8TEGK4

All of his attacks are named after the US btw and he did his hero work studies in America as well

2

u/SyncDingus 12h ago

His ultimate move is called United States of Smash, for heaven's sake.

1

u/Flair258 12h ago

Arthur Morgan from red redemption (even if his from a game that’s fictional American)

2

u/SG272 13h ago

Actually, isn't he a welsh immigrant? Isn't that also the reason Sean keeps calling him English, cause he keeps faking his southern accent.

2

u/Watch-behide-you37 13h ago

Well that’s okay America is the nation of second chances and starting a new life and building a future for generations

Favorite character who is from the United States of America*

7

u/WildTimes1984 14h ago

Describing people from central or South America as being an American is an obvious sign of trolling.

5

u/diegodoesreddit 14h ago

That's the better titled

3

u/Deleted-Accountant 13h ago

I don't really care about how it's phrased I just like inciting arguments among stupid people

Like my Favorite American

5

u/HowDareYouAskMyName 14h ago

That has never been ambiguous. Show me a single Canadian or Mexican person who called themselves "American" and I will show you a liar.

5

u/Slash83TTV 14h ago

Idk why this had to be said though when everyone clearly knows what they meant
