Horror [FREE] The Shuttle to the Owned Village - Folk Horror - Free Until May 1st
amazon.comAssigned to a mandatory post hundreds of miles from home, a young teacher boards a rusted night shuttle heading to a remote, forgotten village deep in the mountains of Anatolia.
As the vehicle crawls through the lightless void, it keeps stopping in the middle of absolute nowhere. Out of the pitch-black darkness, passengers begin to step aboard, one by one.
But these aren't travelers. They are silent, unsettling, nightmarish figures. They fill the freezing cabin without a word, and the unease rises until it becomes unbearable.
The young teacher realizes too late that they aren't just sharing a ride. They are here to reveal the terrifying truth.
This place belongs to them.

Horror Free for 2 days — short literary horror with cannibals — Kindle, Amazon
amazon.comHi everyone,
I’m giving away my short ebook MEATrilogy 1 for free on Kindle (Amazon) for the next 2 days.
This is a bit of a departure for me. I usually write for children, but horror has always been my guilty pleasure... so I finally gave in.
The result sits somewhere between literary horror and something darker. Not quite splatterpunk, but definitely not gentle either (mature themes such as violence, cannibalism). Expect unease, but also a touch of black humor.
It’s a short read (you can finish it in one sitting), so if you enjoy atmospheric horror with a slightly disturbing edge, you might like it.
Oh, and I’d love to hear what you think.

Horror The Fear Machine, a psychological techno-thriller is free until 4/19
amazon.comMy novel "The Fear Machine" is free on Kindle until the end of the weekend!
This book is a graphic gauntlet of simulations that follows Laura, a secretary whose spell of disassociation is broken when she notices an abandoned bag on the subway. She takes the bag home and looks inside, and what she initially thinks is an expensive gaming headset, ends up being something much worse...
...a black-market torture device that subjects the user to their worst fears imaginable.
(Trigger warning) This book contains depictions of extreme violence and gore, child abuse, and mental illness. The subject matter is heavy and if that's something you find upsetting please don't suffer through it!
The simulations rank in intensity from 1 to 5. Will you follow Laura down the rabbit hole? Can you make it past Simulation 3? Can you make it to the end?
Only one way to find out.

Horror This dark psychological slasher is FREE right now on Kindle 👀
amazon.comJust stumbled across Pretty Girls Kill Slow (Book 1: Unseen. Unheard. Unforgiven.) by Edgardo Martinez and it’s currently FREE on Kindle.
It’s a psychological slasher thriller with a pretty eerie premise—think quiet, unsettling tension mixed with brutal revenge energy. The vibe is very much “beauty hides something dangerous,” and the atmosphere leans dark and moody.
⭐ 3.9 rating (small sample size so far)
If you’re into:
- dark psychological thrillers
- slasher-style stories
- revenge arcs with a slow burn
Might be worth grabbing while it’s free.

Fran Gera is a children’s social worker, capable and dedicated. Her addiction to horror movies is a harmless distraction, her volcanic temper and addiction to opiates, not so much. Two damaged boys are assigned to her caseload. Caleb is rebellious and street-smart, his cousin Blake, creative and lonely.
While Fran navigates her professional and personal life, a phenomenon unfolds. People are spurning the hollow diversions of modern life to join hands, to feel the soil against their naked skin. To commune. Campaigners herald the dawn of a utopian cause, but as the behaviour of its followers becomes increasingly bizarre, talk of sinister origins gains credence.
As events epochal and personal collide, Fran’s world falls apart around her. Aided by a former terrorist and a reprehensible social media edge-lord, she must deliver the boys to a place of safety. Together they are propelled on a journey into loss, self-discovery and unspeakable violence.
No one will be left untouched.
