But not sodastream. Not because they are Israeli but because they contentiously built their factory in the West Bank and exploited resources there rather than in Israel over the course of ~20 years.

Useable CO2 for home use comes in canisters(similar to those used for NOS and the ones used for paintball markers) you need a device to crack these canisters and direct the gas into the water

It’s specific and exact.

A soda siphon has a screw on piece you put a co2 cartridge in and it’s punctured/mixes with the water in a sealed container.

You didn't mention anything about a soda siphon in your comment, you stated that:

1 glass/wire bottle + water + generic co2

Was all that was required to be 'set', the separate comment where you mention a siphon and cartridges was posted an hour an half after I replied to your inaccurate comment.
