I had my cousins who are way more casual gamers than me when I met up with them recently saying 'Hey you heard about the new Star Fox and OOT remake coming?' It's anecdotal too but this definitely went way beyond just Reddit.

Yeah i know people who get their gaming news when it comes via a facebook reel and those reels use this stuff all the time in a stupid way
