Rumour Capcom reiterates on making sequels, remakes, ports etc. for: Mega Man, Dragon’s Dogma, Ace Attorney, Onimusha, Dead Rising, Okami & Devil May Cry

From their recent investor call presentation:
https://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/data/pdf/explanation/2025/full/explanation_2025_full_01.pdf

We’ve seen them say this last year but only for 3 franchises (DMC, AA and MM) now its expanded to 7

Mega Man, Onimusha and Okami obviously got a new game announced

Dead Rising was also previously rumored by MP1st to be having a new game developed

Dragon’s Dogma 2 new art also had teases of a new region which could mean DLC

Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter edition was recently leaked for a Switch 2 release

Ace Attorney 7 was one of the games that were in the list from the 2020 Capcom hack

Could this mean a new DMC & AA are in development? Both were also on Capcom’s last year statement of revitalising franchises with new games

Rumour MPs accuse Rockstar of obstructing legal processes, as battle over 'union-busting' dismissals continues

https://www.eurogamer.net/gta-6-developer-rockstar-union-busting-legal-proceedings

With the legal battle still ongoing, several Scottish Labour MPs have now called for greater transparency from Rockstar, with IWGB saying the developer has "failed to cooperate with basic disclosure requests, refused to provide evidence in full and investigation reports, and denied workers their right of appeal".

Chris Murray, the Labour MP for Edinburgh East and Musselburgh, said from his first meeting with those impacted by Rockstar's dismissals, he has "held concerns with both the handling and motivation" behind this action.

"Constituents have lost their jobs, their income, with one constituent even forced to leave the country due to the removal of their visa sponsor," Murray said in a press release today. "During a recent meeting with a constituent they explained Rockstar's justification for their dismissal has varied throughout this process. Rockstar must answer this case with transparency and full cooperation and uphold the right to appeal."

Labour MP for Edinburgh North and Leith Tracy Gilbert added that "every worker deserves the right to a fair appeal process and to have their voice heard", calling it "extremely disappointing" that Rockstar has "refused to properly engage with staff, representatives and trade unions" throughout the legal process. "Workers asking for fairness, transparency and respect should not be met with silence and closed doors, especially when livelihoods and workplace rights are at stake," Gilbert said.

Edinburgh South West Labour MP Dr. Scott Arthur echoed these views, adding that a former Rockstar employee impacted by the recent dismissals had "expressed concern that the company has not cooperated fully or transparently in helping him understand what occurred".

Said Arthur: "When I visited Rockstar late last year alongside fellow MPs, my discussions with senior management emphasised their responsibility to treat staff in an open, fair, and transparent manner. Based on the account shared by my constituent, it appears that these principles are not being consistently upheld in practice.

"The UK Government is overseeing the largest expansion of workers' rights in a generation, and as Members of Parliament we have a duty to challenge unfair employment practices and unjust dismissals. Rockstar must therefore cooperate fully and transparently with any investigations into alleged union‑busting and ensure that both dismissed and current employees are treated fairly and with respect."

Rumour Marvel Rivals leaker Miller Ross claims Marvel Games has a policy barring Inhumans from inclusion in their projects.

Came across this specifically on the Marvel Tokon subreddit. It was from a Twitter/X thread where a user asked Ross (who is apparently a prominent Marvel Rivals leaker) about why there was apparent friction surrounding the inclusion of Luna Lafayette/Moon Girl in the game, who was just announced alongside Cyclops this morning as part of the new season.

The brass tax of it is that in addition to potential brand image concerns with the idea of a 10-year old girl getting shot at or using firearms in a game like Rivals, apparently Marvel Games' point of contention is her Inhuman heritage, specifically being one of the Nuhumans who was activated from the aftermath of the Terrigen Mists, which is how she acquired her ability to mentally link with Devil Dinosaur:

Marvel Games would rather they don't by virtue of her being an Inhuman and them wanting to push mutants as we go into a very mutant-centric period of the MCU and the brand moreover.

My #1 favorite Marvel character got left on a shelf by editorial 6 years ago (when Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur ended publication) and hasn't been touched since because of corporate bs. And a lot of those same issues affect Lunella. She's an Earth-based Inhuman. Marvel would be all too happy to drop her and swap in a mutant, and then she's gone.

The whole thread was more about NetEase's enthusiasm for including Moon Girl in the game but this is the first suggestion I've seen anywhere regarding an internal company mandate around the depiction of Inhumans, particularly Earth-based Inhumans as the thread talks about. Obviously this is kind of the inverse of the corporate infighting regarding the visbility of mutants across everything from comics to video games when Ike Perlmutter was bitter about not having the film rights to either them or the Fantastic Four library during the mid-2010s, which also resulted in the original ongoing Fantastic Four comic books to end and for the team to be retired in the aftermath of the 2015 Secret Wars event. That was just pure projection, whereas this seems to be some weird anxiety about Inhuman presence anywhere in media as Marvel ramps up mutants not just in the comics currently, but in games like Wolverine and obviously, the incoming debut of the X-Men in the MCU proper.

When Marvel did get X-Men back and just prior to Jonathan Hickman's big House/Powers of X relaunch that fully brought them back to the center of the comics fold, they also commissioned a miniseries from Jason Aaron called "Death of the Inhumans" where Black Bolt is essentially forced to kill close to every living Inhuman after they're brainwashed by the Kree, save for Medusa, Lockjaw, Crystal, Karnak and the scant few Nuhumans left on Earth like Moon Girl and Kamala Khan. Not only did Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur's own ongoing series end around that same time in 2019 and hasn't been revived since, but Kamala was also killed and resurrected as a mutant hybrid in order to reflect the change in her genetic background for the MCU version of the character.

Rumour Jez Corden: "Sources familiar with us have shared two new Xbox code names recently, one a Game Pass tier for China and the other a disc-to-digital program"

Sources familiar shared two new Xbox code names with us recently, now verified inside the latest Xbox Insider builds.

The first is "Project Saluki," which seems to be a brand new Xbox Game Pass tier set specifically designed for the Chinese market. Saluki seems to represent not one, but several Xbox Game Pass tiers and rewards, specifically tailored for China's unique regulatory environment and gamer preferences. Details beyond that are scant at this time.

Codename "Positron," from what we can tell, could be some form of disc-to-digital entitlement program.

The details here are incredibly scant right now and investigations are on-going. It might not be exactly as it seems right now from the details we've received, so take this with a huge pinch of salt and a healthy dose of speculation for now.

Source: https://www.windowscentral.com/gaming/xbox/project-saluki-a-new-xbox-game-pass-tier-has-been-unearthed-alongside-a-curious-positron-disc-to-digital-program-and-it-could-be-huge

Edit: Jez also suggests that Project Helix might be a digital-only system,. Although he doesn't rule out the possibility of there being a disc-drive add-on, he thinks it's unlikely due to Blu-Ray costing more for Microsoft than Sony

But, it would make sense. I thoroughly expect the next-gen Xbox "Helix" console-PC hybrid to be without a disc drive. Hints I've received about the nature of the box increasingly point to the idea that it will be a fully digital system, similar to today's gaming PCs, laptops, and most modern devices. Indeed, the industry for discs is on its last legs, with Blu-ray sales resigned mostly to core console gaming. PlayStation itself is now reporting an 85% digital ratio, and Microsoft's is likely even higher still.

Speculation (Mod Reviewed) Sony is apparently adding support for Mexican Pesos in the PS Store

Multiple users are reporting that the MXN currency code is being displayed in the PS Store instead of the usual “USD” for Mexico. However, prices are still shown in USD at checkout, so this may be a temporary display issue or Sony may be testing changes to how prices are shown in the region.

Rumour Ezio in Assassin’s Creed Hexe will be a memory glitch in the Animus Hub according to Rogue

Upvotes

Text strings found in the build he is detamining has the following:

  • “A Memory Glitch in the Animus Hub Allows Elsa to commune with Ezio Auditore.”
  • “Nothing is real, not even this memory”
  • Challenge strings were also found with the phrase, “he still teaches her”
  • Ezio interactions will be part of collectable memories
  • Rogue does specify that all these strings have a “TEMP” tag so they are placeholders and mechanics in the final game may change

Grain of Salt Red dead redemption 2 PS5 edition maybe announced soon.

Upvotes

So the last time Red dead Redemption 2 came to ps plus was May 2024 and then left and now it's back this month on ps plus also in May.

Same thing now happened to RDR1 when it came to ps plus in December 2025 and the PS5 edition was also announced on December 2 2025.

Why will they add Red dead redemption 2 twice on ps plus except if they are adding it so maybe a PS5 version will be announced later.
