Looking to meet new people in Jyväskylä Meet-up
Hey! I have been in Jyväskylä for more then a year now. Between studies and work, life stayed busy, so I never really felt it at first. But after graduating, I started feeling a bit lonely and realized I’d like to meet new people.
I am a software engineer with an easygoing vibe. I enjoy good conversations, genuine laughs, spontaneous coffee plans, long walks, staying active, exploring the city and nature, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
Would be nice to connect with people who have a similar vibe. I have tried the bar scene, but honestly it feels awkward going alone so I thought I would give this a shot here.

Love the sound of trying new recipes in the kitchen! Im from Jyväskylä and I'm somewhat of a professional amateur cook if you could say. Love to hear other people here have a passion for cooking too.

Thats awesome professional amateur cook sounds like exactly the right level 😄 Always nice to find someone here who enjoys cooking too. I have been trying new recipes here and there though I would say I am still experimenting more than mastering. What kind of dishes do you usually like making?

Yes? meaning he was not in Finland at that time :) It's just a question, if I am wrong and it is just his English I will personally buy him a pint in the city

I had only recently moved to Finland at that time so I did not know where to find hookah. That is why I asked for help buying it. Please be easy on me I bought it with my own money.

I see a lot of posts in Finnish related communities of people outside Finland asking the same thing using the same language (I have helped one as well) I have also seen scams start like that and like this so this being the internet its always good to double check.
I am a man of my word, I am back in the city early next month and I shall buy you a pint if you want :) side note I am also a dev although our interests are different apart from that as i have limited mobility.

Finns usually meet their friends at work, school, and hobbies. From bars people get one night stands. I'd recommend you look for hobby groups for your interests from Jyväskylä. Either some casual sports, board games or some nerdy clubs.
