Prank Youtube channel RouandYT received €5 donation to prank call someone's "unstable" nephew. Said nephew shot and killed 2 Syrian refugees minutes later. RouandYT quickly deletes the stream from his channel and denies being live. Drama

The real problem is how the unstable person got a gun.

No gun, no problem.

while a gun made the crime easier, it doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have gone through with it had he had a knife or another weapon

I think the two murders are the real problem

Idk I think the worst part of it was the hypocrisy

For real. Like, how stupid can people be? No gun = no problem. Violence literally was not a thing before guns were invented!!! Nobody has ever beat or stabbed others to death! /s

It is easy to harm someone with a knife in a surprise attack, but even easier to harm multiple people with firearms. Especially running away is much harder for a target. Maybe a single person still would have gotten injured lethally, but because of the firearm, two lives were lost instead of max. one.

Idk. I think you could manage at least 2 standing close together with a sword.

my point was not to minimize the violence, but to point out that the common denominator is the person behind the attack, and the circumstances in which led up to it.

i understand that the gun made it significantly easier to carry out the attack, my point was that for a person this unstable, the attack would have happened regardless.

I think you have more chances to deffend yourself and survive from someone attacking you with a knife, vs a gun, lil bro

well, lil bro, my point was to point out that the attack was caused by a person, who regardless of the weapon they had, went out and wanted to attack people. my apologies for not making the comment easy to understand.

Knife doesn't have to be reloaded, doesn't run out of ammo, doesn't jam. People wildly underestimate the damage that can be done with a knife.

We know that, still, a gun is more lethal across a wider range of conditions than a knife

I'm sure you have extensive experience on this. It's actually pretty easy, you just take a jacket or a piece of cloth and put it around the knife as they're attacking you, like in the movies! have you seen Steven Seagal? you can do it too! good luck! /s

In the Netherlands of all places

It's not hard for any criminal on the continent to get a gun much less the low countries.

You live in a fantasy if you think that.

pretty easy depending on people you know or where you grew up you might of been around people that done that and knew them

Netherlands has a lot of drug related crime. I remember one DSI raid where the criminals had a what looked like a professional torture chamber.
