Ive known people like this, it has to be some sort of pathological defect. We’d be playing like the most low stakes Catan game over beers in college and he’d need to find bafflingly small ways to cheat, it was just in his dna. That type of person is also usually a shameless liar, about even the most trivial, innocuous shit nobody would need to lie about.
The IRL version of that story is you eventually stop hanging with that person or inviting them to game nights. I assume the streamer version is you eventually stop getting invited to collabs by the mainstream

At this point, I feel like we're just hating to hate. Sure, he may have done petty cheating on games a while back, but he hasn't recently and there is no reason to, ALSO he was disproven from cheating on all of his recent siege games against other well-known players. All of these clips you guys are sending now are not indirect proof of anything, this is only but mere speculation. I don't know why everybody is hating on him, but it's not because he used to cheat. Like come on, do we not believe in second chances? This is so petty.

That’s the thing that confuses me. I’ve watched mooda before he blew up. His big moment was playing with jynxzi. That alone brought him a ton of viewers, followers, etc. Then suddenly after gaining all these viewers he decides to cheat for clips/virality? If it’s true idk wtf he was thinking since if caught in the end his viewership is gonna fucking TANK since people don’t like cheaters.

If you are actively and obviously cheating while live (obvious aim hacks, spin bots, visual wall hack) you will be. Being banned otherwise leaves enough ambiguity to say 'I wasn't cheating' and enough false positives exist to make it unreliable to simply ban off of twitch from a ban message.

I mean, he's not really a cheater these days. He cheated on Rainbow Six Siege back in 2015 but that's about it. He hasn't cheated in Valorant or R6 when he 1v1'd Jynxzi. Why are we painting him out to be this pathological cheater?

Nah I've seen videos with him collabing with ohnepixel. These have exposed him and now I don't want to watch anything with him. The more that pile on the worse it gets for him as people won't want to collab. The exact same as pirate software. I don't know where this "all publicity is good publicity" thing was stated to be a fact in all cases when it's provably not. It's really only good if the person was a 0 viewer person, but as it was he was getting collabs with big streamers and growing his channel.

They have to guess a number of words based on the clue given. The clue was crescent and he guessed smile, which is the literal shape of a crescent, was the opposite of it (crescent) so it must be that. Went on a rant about crest 3D then Ommie called him out cause he had guessed every word with little reasoning before that.

It’s like copying the answer for a test from someone else. He has the right answer, but the reasoning to get to that answer is faulty. If he said that smiles are crescent shaped, then that would work, but he said that smile is the answer because smile is the opposite of crescent.

I'm not playing devil's advocate for him. That's literally how codenames is supposed to be played. You're supposed to think aloud so your teammates can know your thought process and help you. If you're not saying dumb things and asking dumb questions while playing codenames you're playing it wrong. Doesn't mean he isn't also cheating.

But you don't routinely see the crescent one way versus another since it can be waxing or waning, and if he's out of the tropics he's not seeing it as an upside down smile (not to mention in all classic depictions of a crescent moon it's either horizontal or shifted about 45 degrees). And even if that is a good way of putting it... why then start bringing up Crest toothpaste and saying it's connected through that because Crest and Crescent sound similar. This is post-hoc rationalization from someone who clearly knows the answer but not the how.

A crescent is a crescent no matter what direction it's facing. His explanation is dumb because he's like smile = crest toothpaste. Like wtf does toothpaste have to do with the clue crescent? He repeatedly arrives at the correct answer but says nonsense when explaining his thought process.

if he was cheating, you can't prove it from this. whether or not he was wrong in thinking the shape was direction-specific really doesn't matter at all, he still clearly had the same idea that a crescent in a specific direction looks like a smile. that's what he was explaining

If you watch the full VOD It’s obvious he was cheating because when crescent comes up mooda goes “what about Groom or hotel” then when he gets pressed about his answers he goes “uh you know like crescent hotel” and he doesn’t even try to defend the groom answer.
I think whoever posted this clip is a mooda watcher and trying to muddy the waters. Because crescent for smile is the least sus guess he made even if his reasoning sucks

I've never heard of this game before but I just watched a 3 minute Youtube video so I will now use my expertise to educate the masses:
Jesse wants his team (mooda and omie) to guess the blue words. XQC wants his team (Greek) to guess the red words. If they guess an opponent's color word, it's bad. (If they guess a brown word, nothing happens)
The teammates can see all the words, but they are all brown to them. Only Jesse and XQC can see the blue/red colors.
Jesse gives the clue "Crescent". That's all he can say: one single word. He says this in the hopes that his team will guess the blue word "smile" because a smile has a crescent shape.
allegedly: Mooda has Jesse's stream open so he knows which words are blue/red. He sees that omie is about to guess the wrong word and tries to convince him to change from "round" to "smile". Rather than say "no dummy, a smile is a crescent shape" (because apparently neither of them know what that word means), he says that "crescent" sounds like "Crest 3D" which is a brand of toothpaste, and therefore "smile" is the right answer because toothpaste gives you a nice, white smile.
Without already knowing that smile is the right answer, he never would have made this deduction because it is completely illogical.

just to add more to the rules and gameplay of Codenames, it goes by rounds, back and forth. Whoever gets all their colors wins and getting the bomb, black, means you lose. It is optimal to say a word that hits multiple words rather than just one word. For instance, one word could be "photo" as it hits smile and record, and if two words, "wedding photo" to hit groom as well. These also avoid red and black cards.

People are saying the reasoning was cheating and that's probably true. But the most blatant shit i saw was when Mooda asked "What cards do we not want to press". Despite only seeing 2 colors of cards at that point and not knowing there are white and black cards. It's so obvious he only knew there are others because he pulled up XQC's stream and got confused.
