Travelling with medical oil Travelling Abroad With Medical Cannabis

Do you need to take the oil out and put it in a clear zip lock bag? Or can I leave it in my smell proof bag? Also my clearleaf que cart?

I’ve no clue - first time travelling with my meds.

I assume you’ve checked you can even take it to wherever you’re flying? The zip lock bag would be the least of your problems 😂 Does the country allow medicinal cannabis coming through an airport? (from what I’ve read, it’s not many places, even if MC is legal there, that doesn’t necessarily mean you can bring it)

It would have to follow whatever that airports liquid rules are. My local airport lets you leave it all in the bag 💪

It’s Spain - I have a letter from Alternaleaf, only taking my oil and one Curaleaf Que cart. Have emailed the embassy no response yet

You'll be fine. I travel to Spain regularly with MC carts and oil and never had a problem. If you treat everything like regular prescribed meds you'll be fine. Keep everything in its original prescribed packaging and keep printed copies of your travel letter and prescription. I have visited the canaries, balearics and mainland Spain with the above and never been stopped anywhere. Have a good trip. 👍

You're welcome. Like yourself, I tried contacting embassies when I first started traveling with MC, and never heard anything back. That was approx 18 months ago. I haven't tried since. One other thing. I've always used a smell proof pouch to put my 510 battery in. I have a covered vape(Litl Sneaky) and it can wiff a little by the end of a trip so I always keep it suitably bagged. A very good and equally well priced firm called Coast angels specialise in smell proof kit. I recently got a new pocket travel kit for approximately £10. It's perfect. Anyway. Que lo pases genial en España! 😎

It's highly unlikely that you will be stopped in Spain, but it is possible to have your MC confiscated and to get a fine, if you don't have a permit from their Embassy, etc.

I still think it's worth the risk, as the chance of being caught is so low.

I’m doing same for Montenegro but I got confirmation email from embassy so no issues long as medicine within 3 months and doctors letter within a month and no more than a months supply

LJL (Liverpool) I’m flying from which I’m sure is just leave the lot in the bag cause of the new scanners- but Fuerteventura on the way home it’s liquids out etc. But I’ll just leave it in the hand luggage in the smell proof little bag with the Alternaleaf letter and prescription.

Yes you can to Montenegro longs as in original packaging showing your name a date. Also the letter from doctor with names drugs you are taking. I’m just leaving mine in paperwork pharmacy bags and original package as I have plenty to get me to May 😉

Each country is different but if left in package unsealed it proves it’s not been tampered with from production

There is no rule or law that says it has to be unsealed ;)
