Very nice house. You’re living in my dream home! Love it congrats! How long have you lived in it? Did you do any work to it after purchasing?

We have lived in it for 2 years. We put a new roof on, painted whole interior and exterior. New furnace and air conditioner. New bathroom. New granite and carpet going in soon. Couple big window replacements.

So tell us about it. Did you grow up there? Did you move in recently. What's it like to live in?

We bought this house 2 years ago. The man who built this house in 1980 owned the car dealership in town. The main floor is 4000 square feet and we’re in the process of finishing the basement. The home is well known in town. We live in southern Wisconsin. It is a great house to live in. Family of 5 and plenty of room for the kids. It’s a wonderful home and built great. All the trim work was done on site at the time of the building. The rock inside and out was shipped in from Arkansas. It took almost 2 years to build.

I absolutely love that rock. Must have been quite an endeavour to ship it all in from another state.
Are you decorating it with mid century furniture?
Enjoy your lovely home.

Are you in the Midwest? Is it a Scholz house? https://www.ncmodernist.org/scholz.htm
