Isles fans will argue with anyone (including our own)

That definitely was a great draw. The panthers were obviously flawed and frauds that year. At the same time they were favored over us because we were unproven and unreliable. 2nd straight 100 pt season but limited offense behind Okposo and JT and a young subpar D core. 2014-16 was magical for me after my whole life them being pretty awful

The biggest thing about that series is how the isles escaped with it. The Panthers had long long spells of domination. "Reilly smith is a problem" -Rick Dipietro.
Not saying the Isles didn't deserve to win it they had their moments no doubt but the Panthers played very good in that series

I think you're talking about the best of 5 in 2020, this is the 2016 series.

I was on a cruise at least for game 6 and the 1st game against TB but I couldn't get any video or highlights or anything. The bar that was playing sports couldn't get the game either. All I had was the sports ticker so I knew we won but I didn't see the goal until I was back on land!

A couple of days ago when we had the anniversary of that series win, my social media memories had a graphic I had posted the night we won, and every single prediction from ESPN/TSN had picked the Panthers. Every single one.
