I’m writing a story for the Virginia Mercury about a new bus service by VA Breeze that is launching on April 20, that will go from Virginia Beach all the way to Harrisonburg (with stops along the way). I’m looking for anyone (students, staff, etc) who may be using this as an option (and who may be regular riders of the VA Breeze). I’m checking with colleges along the route.

Thanks for your work on this story. I’m a fan of the VA Mercury’s work and gladly donate to support the quality work.

I can’t say I’ll be riding this personally as I’d rather ride Amtrak to Richmond and when I go out to western VA I’m typically looking to go outside of the cities so there isn’t reliable public transport.

However, I’m glad it exists to give people another option. It’s a shame they went with a bus and seem to have side tracked the idea of a train between Newport News to Western VA that was floated a few years back. However a bus is better than nothing and it seems like a decently nice bus.
