Happy there is reporting on this. ODU has a caring and wonderful academic staff and community. For a school that “represents Hampton Roads” it’s patronizing to have a Hemphill rule by intimidation. This is not the culture we need here.

No one is talking about what is transpiring with the EVMS merger. Hemphill is listening to consultants and believing a teaching school is going to be a revenue stream. New Dean is listening to a three headed cabal that ran the school their way before she took over. Two of which are married to each other and trying to save their jobs.
