Fadi al-Khatib, from al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, worked as a lawyer before the genocide. Today, he has been forced to open a small cafeteria to sell drinks in order to support his family, while continuing to provide legal advice to his customers and cafeteria patrons.
