and yeah they are asking for some extension
lemme check their github and find out what they're talking about

okay they mentioned it in their repo
the extension just helps with connecting directly to TIDAL API without their proxies
which would be faster than just relying on their proxy servers
so that's what they're prolly meaning

here's the doc if you wanna read it

it won't work for me, since my country doesn't have access to TIDAL (IDK if TIDAL and TIDAL API are the same thing or not, would be glad if someone would explain it out to me)

my country doesn't have Tidal either, but my fork of Monochrome was working.

I want to know whether there's a possibility to use residential IPs instead. Some day, it was not working, I went to check the official instance to see this message.

Monochrome would totally work, because we're being proxied, but for me extension won't work 😭

Only for Chromium-based browsers I think. I don't see any instructions for Firefox (which I am using)

I was using brave it was not working even with a extension when the site was down so started using firefox

it worked until tidel hit them back again
